Both are about equal, in different ways. I went Magnetic as it looks menacing and hides panel gaps like black, but shows body lines like a lighter color. Best of both worlds.
Even on days that are in the 90s I don't hit higher than 212 after 30-45 minute spirited backroad runs. I have a base model, if that matters to anyone.
Geico has given me the run around for over a month on getting CCC for the new Shelby. Good luck. I've called, emailed, and even gone to a local agent... everyone keeps saying they won't insure the new Shelby as a "classic car," and that "collector car insurance" is not what they offer.

I'm not super-savvy with this stuff but I always found transmission and engine oil debates pointless when you have a manufacturer telling you what to use. You don't think they've chosen the best oils to use in their engine/Trans that likely cost them tens of millions of dollars between being...
I've literally gone up to 8k about 4-5 times in the first 500 miles. Otherwise, I have also kept it under 6k for pretty much every other shift. Now that I'm just passing 500, however, I'm about to change the oil and then it's game on!

I have some very noticeable whine from the transmission, especially when decelerating in low gears. Normal?
If it is normal then I'm fine, I don't mind the sound in a track-bred machine like this, but if it's not something I should be hearing then...
So, I know I can't be the first person to bring this up, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere on the Internet:
Has anyone tried fitting a transmission cooling air scoop to the 350? Like this one...
