Autonation was who I was using to keep the dealer in Dickinson (McRee) honest.. definitely aggressive in their pricing! I may have gotten a bad apple but the dumbass I talked to gave me the whole "that car just sold, but I can offer you one advertised $3,500 more expensive" so I told them to go...
I had a car with a tune in the past, and had good results with getting warranty work performed.
But I am with notch, the 3rd gen engine issues have me worried. Last thing I need a dealer to say it my premature engine failure is due to an aftermarket tune. I will hold off until she’s proven...
Got my X-Pipe installed yesterday, sounds amazing. I was on the fence initially but everyone told me to do it.. so glad I did. Everytime I drove the car before the XPipe install I always put the exhaust in track mode, now I can ride around in Normal and be happy.. track mode sounds even more...
That's what I am planning at the moment. Was thinking about dipping it black, or looking for a grill without the pony. Still havent made up my mind. The emblem on the trunk panel will follow suit. I have already swapped the chrome wheel lugs for black ones and added 1" spacers. X Pipe was...
He's pretty average honestly, you can probably find cheaper but I like using him because he is OCD like me. I won't use anyone else because of his attention to detail.
A buddy of mine drove his Viper up to Magnolia (200 mile roundtrip) for a ceramic coating and he has swirls showing through...
Every spoiler delete I have seen was a no cost option, but it is a line item on the sticker.
I am getting my X-Pipe installed right now.. curious to see how it sounds in person. May need to leave the active exhaust in Normal mode lol.
For ceramic coating I am taking mine to a guy down here in...
Wow, didn't realize there was so many H-town guys on this forum. I was talking with Joe Myers on a possible Roush kit until I found mine up in Corsicana.
Give the folks at Brinson Ford a chance.. they have shitty reviews online for whatever reason but I drove up from the Houston area because they gave me a smoking deal on a GT PP1. The closest match here in town wanted $4k more. Made the 4 hour drive a no-brainer for me.
I broke down and drove to a dealer 4 hours north in DFW who had an identical car I ordered in their inventory.. they gave me an incredible deal I couldn’t pass on. This color looks 100x better in person than any picture I have seen!
I would honestly make that guy earn my business. If he's quoting you a price that looks like it's around their Invoice (better believe they are pocketing that rebate) they aren't worth the time of day IMO. Drive an hour or two if you need to.. there's dealers nationwide that's advertising +/-...
That’s more expensive than the market average according to true car. Doesn’t seem like a very good deal to me at all. Maybe reach out to another dealer?
301a is not required on the 19's with active exhaust. I ordered my 19 with 300 package & active valve exhaust as well. The exhaust mode can be accessed in the menu screen in the instrument panel through the vehicle settings menu. I tried it with a car on the dealer showroom floor to make sure.
That's what/when I ordered, not sure on when my build date is. I was quoted an estimated delivery near my birthday (Feb 16th) when I placed the order (11/26). Looks like the dealer sat on my order for a week or so.
We bought my wife a Rav4, great car. Not a single issue. Considering hanging on to it until my son/daughter is old enough to drive and make him/her buy it from us.
My Mustang will never be my primary source of transportation. I just sold my motorcycle/all my gear because of the inevitable wreck...
