  1. Can a GT350 with light track wheels & track aero match a GT350R?

I think that is one thing that is highly overlooked. I don't own a 350 yet but from my research I am expecting to need to add some spring rate/sway bar in the front to get the car to have the characteristics that I like... IE dial out some understeer. For the average driver that could add...
  2. Why are so many for sale?

I just mean track pack really. If I could get a new no miles 16 the clock hasn't started running on the warranty yet I think it's well worth a few grand extra, so no real reason to buy a used one for 52k.
  3. Why are so many for sale?

Small sample size. That fact that I see a few dozen sitting at that same price with similar miles and more options shows me more on where the market currently stands imo. My local dealer also dropped their adm from the 16 they have and its been sitting at 58k.
  4. Why are so many for sale?

That's what I have been noticing. I have seen cars with "high" miles(18-20k) sitting for 48k obo for weeks now. Same with low mile track pack cars in the 52-54k range. Just two to three months ago it seemed as if every car put up for sale under 55k was swooped up almost instantly. Now I wouldn't...
  5. Why are so many for sale?

As someone who has never leased or even looked into leasing a vehicle, what does that mean?
  6. Why are so many for sale?

I've been watching all eBay auctions on both gt350's as well as R's and rarely does one ever sell. Bids normally hit 48k and 65-70k for R's and then the same cars are delisted a few days later and the same thing happens. I also see the same cars on auto trader and craigslist getting relisted...
  7. Torn: GT350R to buy or not

I'd just buy a regular 350 and spend the extra cash on mods. You could make a regular 350 worlds better than a R for a fraction of the difference if your paying 20k adm.
  8. 4.09 gears.

    updates?
  9. The GT350 LOVES Race Gas

Anyone ever see what the actual numbers difference is with higher octane? Would be nice if someone could do a few pulls, dump 5gal of 100 in and see what happens on the rollers.
  10. New GT350 Owner - Coming from Porsche/Ferrari

Any updates on how its wearing on you?
  11. Why are so many for sale?

I have been watching the market like a hawk, reading tons of posts here and just doing your average stuff that most of us obsessive car guys do while waiting to make a purchase. I have done this with my trucks(I'm a big fan of diesel truck), cts-v, vettes, m3's etc. I have never seen a car with...
  12. The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

So I'm newly in the market and stopped into my local ford dealer to check out my he one they have in stock. I was shocked to see that it's a 2016 with tech pack and they want 20k over msrp. So $78,000 for a car that's a year old, vinyl was scratched up on, the battery was dead and I couldn't...
  13. Adding coolers to 2016 non track packs?

I was wondering what the cost and feasibility of adding coolers to non track pack cars would be. Either factory or aftermarket. I'm in the market for a gt350 but on the low end of what they are selling for so I was thinking a option might be to buy a cheaper non track pack car and add...
  14. 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO ZL1 VS. 2017 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350R: THE FOREVER WAR

What's funny is how emotionally involved people get over these comparisons. No one here will run the times a pro driver runs and when two cars are less than a half second apart it's a tie really cause even a semi pro will have their open track times vary over a half second on a street car in...
  15. Your thoughts on long term ownership and what will be "classics" one day.

I think a lot of people here are considering value in their definition of "classic". I guess what I am more thinking is that when you look back on the s550/gt350/r will it be in that category of the fox body or the forgotten category of like the sn95's? A car that in 20 years when people see a...
  16. Your thoughts on long term ownership and what will be "classics" one day.

So as a relatively young man(33) I often hear people talking about current crops of cars being a classic one day or collectable etc. Personally I don't care to make a profit on a car or anything like that, but I would like to purchase a vehicle that will stand the test of time in terms of style...
  17. Anyone in the Norcal area?

I'm in Santa Rosa so San Jose would be a bit of a drive. Same with Livermore but I greatly appreciate the offers guys.
  18. Anyone in the Norcal area?

I am going to be in the sports car market once my house sells and am very drawn to the gt350. Ive read all the press stuff, comparisons etc and a common theme is that you don't get the gravity of how good the experience is unless you drive one or in this case I am just looking for a owner to...
