  1. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

If they stuck a voodoo in a stripped down lightweight GT with the good brakes, aero and seats. I'd be in. 100% in. I ruined my boss 302 putting a supercharger on it and it's almost paid off so I'll keep that to abuse people around town with but I would love to have what I described above. It's...
  2. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Would be an awesome buy, like originally intended with the 350. Dealers will manage to ruin this also if it comes to fruition.
  3. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

I mean it's not hard to listen to the car and hear it's the same thing. I think what we are seeing isn't the GT500.
  4. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Not on the gentleman I saw posting. There's a few on there that say they work at roush and their profile pictures match that claim.
  5. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Lot of idiots on there for sure. This dude could be lying but quick look at his profile he does work for roush etc.
  6. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Oh yeah, I'm aware of that. I never thought it meant twin turbo but a lot of people are assuming it. Would be nice for it to be that but, the first pictures from a few weeks ago, to the videos and the stills the last few days it appears to be a different car.
  7. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

It also appears to be two cars running around. The one has the TT stickers on it, different aero and different wheels. Something to take into consideration.
  8. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

1320 video posted a video of the car rolling around. About half way down through the comments, two different guys that work for roush (mechanics) both said the same thing on different comments. I'm assuming they're not worried about it because what's going on isn't a big deal.
  9. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

He didn't say. I'm assuming a new add on to roush RS vehicles maybe getting the 5.2? I mean you can clearly tell it's not a new platform here, the engine doesn't sound any different and there's zero hint of anything forced induction at all. I think everyone's jumping the gun here big time.
  10. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

The covers are to hold all the heat possible in to simulate track temps with high operations im assuming. Trying to recreate the temps to prevent failure? It's believeable for sure and came from someone who "works on the other side of the fake brick wall".
  11. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Especially with people talking about added coolers etc etc it seems to be dead on. There was nothing different about the sound of the vehicle in the video except it may have an aftermarket exhaust on it that's about it.
  12. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

A guy on Facebook pretty much just let the cat out of the bag. Works as a mechanic at roush and said that this is just the roush test car that they were given from pre production and what they're doing is testing for extreme heat build up and how to adjust for it. It's believeable given all of...
  13. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

There is no FI on that car, you'd hear it 100% if it were TT.
  14. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

I'm holding out for this. Numbers for the ZL1 came out this morning being 0-60 in 3.5 and 11.4 at 127 quarter mile out of the auto. Hopefully Ford will put an auto in this one. Still looking for a reason to not buy an already well built coyote for under $40,000.
  15. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

It's just not practical anymore for their game to do big cube and big blower. It's not as efficient as turbos now. I can see a Mach 1 variant with a forged engine and supercharger from factory as a package, but even now with places like Lebanon ford offering the 727 package for $39,999 it's hard...
  16. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

They're smart waiting for the newest ZL1 release. Wait till the market is finished producing for a few years (hellcat,ZL1, Possibly Z06 competitor?) and pounce. Everything for is doing is screaming ecoboost aside from drag packs.
  17. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

Looks like a left over mule from 350 testing with something going on for sure. Would hope it's something with GT500. The brakes were the attention getter for me leading to it being an old 350 tester and seeing those wheels used at the ring last year.
  18. DIB R package on lot for $20,000 ADM.

Crazy. Saw it posted for sale a little while ago. Must have sold.
