That's disappointing. For a vehicle that costs in excess of $60K+ I wonder how much additional cost it would have added to the vehicle if Ford had switched to a billet steel gerotor? That certainly is depressing.
More a curiosity than anything else. Does anyone know if our gerotor is aluminum like the standard coyote or it is made of billet steel? I know this is a weal point of the coyote and I know our engines operate at much higher RPM's and vibrate much more. I am just curious if Ford used a...
Ditto. You need to drive these cars not baby them. The rings will never seat properly if you drive it too easily. My car didn't use any oil the first 2,000 miles. When I changed it at 2K it was still full. My 2011 Coyote used a quart every 2,000 miles, my 2014 never burned a drop and...
If you find the right deal, go for it. These cars are solid. There are a few who have had some major drivetrain issues but I can remember when the Coyote first arrived on the scene in 2011 (I bought one right away) and some of those folks had issues too. It;s going to happen to any high...
I would agree with this. To not drive them in hopes of going up in value and being worth more is a bit overboard. To not modify, drive them, keep them well maintained, and mileage low is probably not a bad idea unless you don;t plan on keeping the car long term. IMO.

I disagree. The mustang production numbers when compared to the earlier years are much less comparatively speaking. There are much less S550 Mustangs than the late 60's and...
Are you keeping the vehicle or selling it back to Ford? I had thought you opted for a repurchase back from Ford??? This latest post makes it sound as if you'll be keeping the car now. I love my GT350 and I changed my oil for the first time this past weekend. The car had 1,800 miles on it...
What you say makes sense. It's tough to predict what will and what won't be worth money in the future. Any model made in low production numbers and that also remains an unmolested original vehicle should be a good collectible.
The one thing we can't predict is where technology is going to...
I'll tell you my man when I read the subject of your thread I wasn't certain what to expect. I opened it up and saw your pics and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. They look amazing. Nice selection!
Get one with the convenience package. They are the GT seats with Alcantara inserts. Salem Ford in NH has a Red GT350 they will let go for MSRP and it has the convince package.

I live in a state that requires a front plate. What bracket do you folks recommend that won;t leave holes in the front of my bumper and can either be easily removed or hidden?
I got my car 3 weeks ago. I put on about 100 miles of mild driving and lots of varying RPM. The next 4000 miles were moderately spirited. I just took a trip back home to NJ and that was 350 miles each way. I down shifted a new times to pass and laid into it pretty hard. Then while in...
What confuses me even more is the fact that there are Camaro owners trolling our boards and wanna be Camaro owners as well. Why not go to your own boards and stroke each others ego's??? Smells like the classic inferiority/superiority complex to me. Sure let me go and try and hammer on some...
