I did get her out and even drove her to a PCA event down In Illinois last Sunday! Looks like it will be another week or more before she will get out again, but hot damn it was nice to get back behind the wheel again.

I ran group 3 (of 5) so nothing crazy. Worst thing all day was a 996 911 S blew up and I ended up with some oil sling down the passenger side of the car. And there is no PPF on the car. 😬In 10-15 years I’ll have the car properly painted and re-assembled with proper gaps. That’s my theory anyway.

I just activated my Insurace. Oil filter in hand. Oil changed scheduled for 10am tomorrow. Praying for decent driving conditions no matter that the weather man says.

Mine is coming out on Friday, already booked her spring oil change (I have the filter in-hand, thankfully).

I have a track weekend at Road America coming up in April. If things keep heading north this could be the last track even my for mine. Which kinda sucks. These values are a bit of a doubled edged sword. Makes me feel brilliant as I finally bought a car that didn’t loose money right off the bat…...

He used to write for jalopnik then got big with his YouTube car reviews which he then leveraged into his version of BaT. Kinda like Chris Harris (Top Gear, The Drive) is doing with his new venture “collecting cars” hope all is well out west, my friend!

It’s not north or east but I take my R to Kunes Ford in Delevan and I am quite pleased with their service.

Update to my update… called my local Ford dealer to check ETA of the filter I had on ordered with them last fall… and they actually got one! Will be picking it up tomorrow. There is hope!

Update: Ford parts giant just canceled my order for 2 filters because “The ordered parts have been discontinued and or is back ordered with no ETA by the manufacturer”
