Just tapped my 16 using this info and works perfectly with the mirror tap. I used needle nose to push the pins all the way back and on the bottom part of the "box". Works great.
Yes, mine came with it as well:

Last I looked they had novice days for $150, which includes classes and 4-20 minute sessions. Considering most peeps have 0 seat time on a track could be a great thing for a group experience. Then afterwards cruise to a local restaurant for dinner. Just a thought.
I'd like to go but won't be able to. It would be fun to get a group together to do a track night at Harris Hill when they have them. We need to figure out a time run down as a group to SAR for sure. Much more fun to run with groups than alone out there.
Regardless of the method used, removing the sound tube means having to plug the hole at he firewall. You can do it from the engine bay side or from inside the car behind the gas pedal.

P51DNA - So that's kinda the feedback I was looking for. Whether opening up the entire grill made a difference in air flow in the cavity to effect the AITs in a positive manner as well. Being that opening the grill could possibly lead to hood flutter, it's assumed at this point that opening up...
Cobra Jet- yea it's similar but still deals with the entire grill being opened up. I'm specifically talking about keeping just the air inlet side open and the effects (if any) it may cause in regards to air flow. What I've observed has been fairly dramatic in my opinion and don't want to...
So after installing a JLT intake this past December I noticed what I had read about on these forums.... increased AITs across the board. Even with the foam heat shield the AITs were routinely 30-40* higher than ambient idling, 20-30* higher at from 30mph and less, and 15-20* 30 and up. Not to...
