Another photo showing the tonneau covers on. Tomorrow is the first car show I'm going to since I bought these. Hopefully the weather cooperates and I can have them on and the top down.
It's a popular Photoshop that people do. Take a photo with the hood up, photo with hood closed (both on tripod), overlay, mask, change opacity. Bam. I WOULD like a proper transparent hood but would probably be far more than I would be interested in spending.
Thanks. I actually don't have any issues with the Ford Performance strut bar. In itself that's an improvement since the EcoBoosts don't come with one. I also already knew CF was expensive on its own, I paid $450 for the engine cover and $250 for the mirror covers. I love the CF look but damn if...
Don't have a video for you guys yet but today I finally got to test it operating while moving. I had the top go up while I was backing into my driveway. Nothing fancy but something I couldn't do before! I've been using the unlatch and auto-down and one-touch auto-up functions for a few days and...
Link to the strut brace?
Also, is the filter thing you got where the oil cap would go just for looks or actually does something for our little engines?
Here's my 4 banger. I may have wanted to wait to get some of the carbon fiber covers instead, but some were not in stock and I'm always rushing. I still like this look, but second guessing not going for more carbon fiber.
Saw some cool stuff in this thread. Also definitely going to plasti-dip...
Damn, that car really does look good.
I installed the TruFiber carbon fiber mirror covers. Man, I love the glossy finish and look of TruFiber products. I got the engine cover, now the mirror covers. Has anyone done a full CF conversion on a S550 I can take a look at? I wonder how that would look.
I'm still in the honeymoon phase with the car, going to cars and coffee and other meets. For those, I think the tonneau covers are a nice touch. For most of the time they'll be in the trunk or at home.
Received module. Programmed and installed with zero complications. It was more of a hassle to put back my son's car seat than to do the rest (really). Also, burned the palm of my hand with how hot the plastic and leather got in the few minutes I had my top down.
Did I see somewhere that one of...
Wow these are some nice upgrades. I also think audio quality is pretty subpar but not willing to spend money on it at the moment. Other more interesting projects.
Thank you!
EDIT: This is interesting. It lists the car as a special order. I knew from the Carfax that it was a rental before I bought it CPO. I wonder if Enterprise or one of them special ordered from Ford directly and that's why it included the spare tire. From reading this I can't tell what...
Yes mine came pre-painted, same for the side scoops. The paint match on the hood scoop is pretty spot on, the side scoops I think are a small percentage different, but it could be the angled lighting. Interestingly enough I'm going to have to repaint this car at some point soon (bought it used...
Don't have a picture showing it. I'll have to remember to take a pic. Two of the holes were already there as part of the design, you just have to expand them a bit. The others are new holes. I have a cut out in my hood shield to show the pony, so a couple of the holes are visible, the others are...
Wow, thanks for helping out guys. It sucks Ford is no longer letting us get it ourselves.
Can one of you awesome guys get me mine?
