I love em, will definitely buy another set. I think I have 10k on mine and thats with 3 autoX events and a trackday at Little Tally GP. For comparison, the Pzero rears I only got 8k mi out of. Much more friendly in cold temps compared to the Pzero's. Anyway, my 2 cents
Random thought...may not even work hah, but might want to look into using parts of an EXUP system off a motorcycle. Most people will ditch em when putting a full system on. Yamaha has been using them forever.
Sounds like it accomplishes what you are looking for...though for an entirely...
Ya not a fan of the front end. I don't like how they lost some of the depth between grill/bumper. The fog light area, meh....i know it has that LFA look to it sorta, but I see more new Prius' on the road than LFA's haha.
I do like the new heat extractor. The little plastic jobs on the current...
Hah, that's what happened to me. I went in to test drive a Focus ST because I was really considering the RS. Figured I'd test drive a stang since I made the hike all the way up to Roswell...well, we can see how that turned out haha.
My commute is about 50mi all country highway backroads round trip. I think I hit 1 light and maybe 3 stop signs each way. If I REALLY try, I can average 25mpg with the GT PP (did it once)....which isn't terrible, that's a lot of cruising @ 60mph in 6th with the 3.73 though and just super boring...
I think it's just me and two others...a black 5.0 non-PP and a Guard either ecoboost or v6. I stopped him at the mailbox before I bought mine because I hadn't seen a Guard in person yet. Had it been a little more on the Bullitt green side I would have opted...DIB it was though!
Theres an Auto-X event down in Macon this Sunday on the 9th if anyone else wants to go. I'm all signed up and ready to rock...should be some kick ass weather for it! mgascca.com
Ya no thanks, I had it on my '12 Ram 1500 and the only time I ever used it was on the interstate or on occasional long back road drives with no stops or hills. Past 75mph it never really turns on, probably due to aerodynamics at that point and the power need to push the truck. The hesitation...
I was at a venue last week and sometimes they have cars from local dealers on display. They had a new Camaro Convertible RS package and the sticker was 47k!?! My GT PP was only 30k...I can't fathom paying 47k for a v6 in a muscle car. But, I guess someone will /shrug
Heck ya! My Aussie loves it! I keep him in the back though. He used to be bored to tears riding around in the truck...he definitely enjoys the stang 100x more. I've been tempted to do the seat delete so he can have a nice flat surface back there.
I like em, even though I can barely see the driver side one. First car was a '68 stang and I had always wanted the hood with the integrated signals on that.
Just over 7k and almost just about down to the wear bars....fronts look like they still have a good bit of tread left, though a little mangled from an autoX on a super hot day a couple months ago. Torn between just tossing on another set of rears till the fronts wear out or just go ahead and do...
Saw the link on the page and now I am definitely picking one of these up. Originally, I wanted to datalog through mountain runs and autocross and sync with videos and overlays. But if I can disable the goddamn honk when i leave the car with it running when my keys are in my pocket, I'll pay...
I went base GT PP. For me, the extras in the Premium didn't justify the cost. Can always add leather later if you want it. I actually prefer the base model stereo and climate control setup, as I will most likely upgrade the stereo to my liking at some point....though, I don't care about it...
Damn I'm going to be out of town or I would be there for sure. Almost went last weekend, love it up there...sucks it's so much of a hike for me now that I moved down here. Ended up selling one of the bikes cause I can't get up there as much as I used to.
