I believe you are correct. From what I understand the cat back from the GT can directly bolt on to our V6s. The pipes from the resonator back is 2.5 as opposed to 2.25 which our cars have. Curious, what exactly do you plan on doing with the new exhaust. I need some ideas. I too may be picking up...
Has anybody used a stock GT cat back on their V6? I'm interested in finding a takeoff, whether from a V6 or GT and throw some axle backs on it. This way I could have one exhaust to experiment with and still have my stock exhaust
Thanks to Lethal. I ordered my wheel on Thursday and received it yesterday!
This upgrade was well worth it. The materials feel amazing and the red stitching goes well with the red vinyl trim that I also installed.
Can't wait to get back in my car!
Are there any axle backs that produce a deep tone that are drone free? That's my biggest fear with changing the stock exhaust setup. I want a good sound but I definitely don't want drone.
Yeah, I got that call too. I don't mind waiting tho, just glad I don't have to pay Ford's higher price (*faints*) for the steering wheel
Do u guys think Ford will lower the price again at some point?
It baffles me how much people care about the way the CAI's look. I mean I get it to a certain extent, but they all look pretty similar and at the end of the day it's under the hood. It's not like anyone is gonna say "man that CAI is ugly" while you're driving lol. I care about the sound much...
I was just referring to using somthing small just the wedge between the door panel cloth and plastic material, ever so slightly to make it easier to squeeze in the vinyl. It seemed like that was the problem when doing the doors. Ill check it out and give it a try once I get home. Thanks for the tip
Just got the red trim in today. Gonna install when I get home. Anybody know what I should use to pry open the door panel pieces to make it easier to install?
