of course, one of the biggest design cues to tell you it's an LE isn't there - just gets a regular rear quarter window & black DLO trim... it's kinda "Eh".

66.0 - that's probably it for the winter, unless we get some warm dry days...

IDK If it's just the picture or not, but it seems like tinting the rear quarters makes the louvers less noticeable? is that the case in person?

the problem is that a set of four will have two rears and two fronts. if the rears won't work on the front or vice versa, it'd be best to buy one at a time...

I took delivery of LE #735 (WW auto) on Monday, 12/8/14

My Dealer was talking $1800 and said if I waited until the end fo the 3yr/36k to buy, it MIGHT cost $3k...

i picked up #735 last night - the guy said it was eligible, but i didn't take it. he said I could add it at anytime BEFORE the 3yr factory warranty expired, but the cost will go up gradually as it gets closer to that time.

Just got the call - #735 is at the dealership... on my way...

Following up to what RawbeanZ was saying about the history of mustang, an in response to Tamadrunmer88's comment about this being more special than the corvette's 50th: one of the reasons it is so special is because the mustang has been in continuous production since it was introduced in 1964...

I would assume that the price is purposefully kept high to avoid LE clones...

I wasn't trying to justify the dealer's actions at all. I was rationalizing the situation. If the guy wants an LE, he'll have to pay what the person who owns it is asking for it. If he takes it to court, the likely outcome is he won't get the car anyway... The dealer was completely in the wrong...

Then the only question is: Is it worth $10k and some pride to buy the LE, or would you prefer to not have an LE and just your deposit back? and for clarity, I'm paying a $10k ADM on #735.

How much of an ADM are they asking?

I worked at a dealership while I was in college. a brand new Mustang got delivered to the dealer and the truck driver had forgotten to tighten the thing down on the way from wherever. The customer had special ordered this car that now had a permanent indent in the roof where it was bouncing...
