I received my production date as well this morning & pretty much the expected date based on following this thread...though was hoping for slightly sooner of course! December 6th production date it is (for now) :-)

I gave Customer Service (800-334-4375) a call to see if they could tell me my VIN, but they sadly said that only the dealer could retrieve that. No worries, Jay@Granger said it would be most likely be available by tomorrow...

That’s awesome…I mostly want to get it covered with PPF & Ceramic before I take it X-Country home, but will get the hood lifts on, really should come with them…a little hood kick stand seems out of place!

Ok, curious on parts you're having shipped to Jay? I was going to reach out to him at some point as I will be switching out tires and would like Ford Performance hood supports added...probably will have a cover shipped there for the ride home as well. Is that the kind of thing you're sending...

I emailed Jay@Granger today and he said he received "a notification it is previewing today, so I should have a VIN Thursday". I asked what a "preview" was and he said it's essentially the last opportunity to make any changes to the order before assigning the VIN. Fingers crossed...

It's now been nearly three weeks since my order was confirmed by Ford via email, but still no follow up with a VIN? Is three weeks a little long for most? Hoping to jump to the next phase of The Waiting Game by obsessively compulsively checking for the build date:-/

Ooo...there's hope yet for early December...or possibly false hope, but I can work (delude myself) with that! I'll relax much more (a lie) once I get the VIN#...baby steps. Admittedly, the wait is giving me a great way to get to sleep at night, envisioning shifting away out onto the open highway!

Dilemma...it's been two weeks plus since placing my order with no VIN or Build estimate as of yet (see signature below), very concerned regarding a probable Dec/Jan delivery (my guess) and getting it back to the Seattle area and over the Cascade mountain passes from Iowa. Freak snowfalls...

My only concern is getting it over the mountain passes of the Cascades in December, hit or miss at that point when the snow flies! If I have to drive to Southern California & turn north, I’ll do so:-)

Sadly I don't, I'm actually transitioning from International flying back to domestic, and we handle mostly West Coast type trips, though we do cross the Mississippi going to Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Florida, etc. I'll be in training next month for the Airbus A220, so if you're ever on a Delta...

I’m having Michelin All Seasons put on prior to departing Granger for the drive back to Seattle, no need (off track) for anything else.
