Zero sympathy in this scenario. It's not like the EPA is enforcing a brand new law and deciding to retroactively enforce it. You took a calculated risk when you went down this route.
Why is this political to you? Enforcement of the law (which has been around for decades) ultimately serves the greater good.
Running around on public roads with a cat deleted car is a non-starter. So what is your proposal for a reasonable path forward?

There's a lot of evidence in this thread showing that due to the coyote 2 & 3's high compression ratio could lead to early cat failure for a few reasons.
1. Improper COT strategy or leaving it...
It really is too bad that the Variable Compression tech like Nissan has in their VC Turbo engine isn't more mainstream as it seems like it would help solve some of these issues. I just don't forsee an OEM putting in the necessary R&D to do so as ICE's aren't long for this world.....
Interesting, so for as much crap as the Roush/FP cal gets on this site it seems like they knew what they were doing (now the design itself of the gen 3 coyote blower is certainly up for debate).....
