Sorry, had to.
I ordered a square setup to be able to rotate tires. I doubt there would be any difference on the street as you should be no where near the limits; however, I don’t know this I until I try it tomorrow lol.
Hold the clutch in for a few seconds before pushing the start button. This will cycle the valves for the diagnostic and they will remain closed when you start the engine. You won’t get the loud bark on cold start this way.
But that’s only if you want to be friends with your neighbors...
Ordered them from Tire Rack and got the black metal stem valves. Sensors are OEM and have the FoMoCo part # etc. $32 for the sensors (with their metal valve) + $3.99 for the black valve.
Dropped it off for an alignment before heading to Pittsburgh tomorrow. Got a delivery from OP Mustang with new extended studs, lug nuts and spacers. Also, ordered tires for the new wheels.
Tough call, but don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. :like:
I managed to make a decision on the wheel style and color kind of impulsively (probably a good thing), but have been stuck agonizing over tires and other supporting parts :headbang:
