Petrolatum jelly (vasoline) lightly lube all o rings and bosses will slide right in with little pressure and jelly disappears. Also I put rags or paper towels under the area i'm working in case I drop the bolt it will fall on the rag.

The oil pump gears were not hard at all just attention to detail. The oil pan bolts one over the rack on the passenger side and another on the drivers side was a pain but take your time you will get them. Having the right tools help also.
