There are different parts of the engine that need to broken in.
Varying the rpm is to break in the cam(s) so they don't flat spot. Sounds like your cam(s) has a flat spot.
Thanks your right on. I just got the car and was trying things out in the drive way. I just took it around the block, works as you described. in my other cars, it turns off as soon as you take it out of reverse.
thanks everybody for the feedback
Manual trans, when I take it out of reverse the backup display stays on :frusty: regardless of what gear I put it in. although the reverse light turns off.
Anybody else have this problem, any suggestions?
A lot of people have commented on the price of the PP is worth it for the brakes alone. As a daily driver in Los Angeles, I am more interest in the stopping distance of the first stop. If you take the tires out of the equation, my understanding is the main advantage of the Brembo is brake fade...
Tire Rack Note: Once installed, you will need to read your vehicle's owner's manual to review the proper procedure for allowing your vehicle to "recognize" the new sensors.
Can I do this myself, or is the dealer the only one who can do it.
Good point. Please post the video of you just popping out the vacuum gauge. Because if it’s that easy, I will be popping mine for something more useful. Hopefully the aftermarket will come thru.
