the bar thing they are referring to is a panhardbar, and since the 15's have a IRS dont utilize a panhard bar. probable someone with a s197 told you that.
I didnt think it was very hard to put back in, just put it on the peg first, after depressing the clutch pedal, and then push the top part back into the grove it sits in.. took me less time than taking it out.
I had a supercharged 07 gt, and that tremec 5 speed never clunked like this lol.. I still love the car, just going to take some getting used to a new transmission that sounds like it has 200k on it lol...
I took the spring out, took it for a drive and loved it, came back home read pages 19-current and put the spring back in.. would be nice for an aftermarket company to design an very light spring that just ensured that the clutch would return to fully extended position when released but took away...
This transmission, or diff, or drive shaft makes way too much noise, it is more than noticeable and you can feel it through the pedals and shifter.. its just taking away from the feeling that this is a new car and shouldn't feel so sloppy, does anyone feel the same way? ive only had my car for...
