If you're concerned about your stock 2.3 blowing up, why would you want to have a tune done? The solution to your anxiety isn't modifying your car - leave it alone and enjoy it. If you want a faster car and reduced anxiety, get a GT.

Conversely if it's causing you anxiety, maybe you should take the loss and either sell it or trade it.

...and in my case (live in Canada), to upgrade to a GT means an extra $10,000. ACK.
