I looked at a scat pack challenger, but dealer here is a bad one and the selection of colors and trim was very poor. I don't like Camaro's so that was not even considered.
My last GM was a 1995 Z28 I bought in '97 with 10,000 miles on it. water pump went at 20,000 and took out opti spark distributor. Intake manifold oil leak. Tranny went at 25,000. Believe it or not, I never had a issue with any mustang I owned. I did have a 2005 explorer V8 that got lemon lawed...
So, I got a late start because I was a mopar guy in the '70's and a GM guy in the '80's and 90's. My second wife is a mustang nut and since marrying her in 2000 I became a believer, here is my mustang list: (the same year cars were his and hers)
1) 2001 GT mineral grey
2) 2001 GT silver
3) 2003...
Are you getting a lot of brake dust on front rims??? Has GT brakes, but my GT never put much dust on rims. Must be a different pad because it feels a lot different than GT brakes and the brake dust is pretty bad in a weeks time after a washing.Anybody else noticing this?
And then there was the ecoboost performance pack in 2020 and the debate continued..........just traded my 2018 for one and no regrets. To each his/her own I guess.
it pulls a bit harder than the GT from just getting on the gas from a stop. The torque is instant. Once underway a GT is more powerful, but this car will stomp a base ecoboost. The handling pack is amazing. You can do things a GT will not do unless maybe a PP2. Dealer gave me a good trade in...
Got it today. Eco HPP, Handling pack. A-10. Short ride home and was impressed by the power. Pulls hard from down low and feels like she just wants to keep going. Handling is magic. Going to do some time in it tomorrow, but so far i'm impressed. Don't forget i'm comparing this to my former 2016...
the point was that after everyone was telling the guy Corsa never has an issue, I pointed out that there occasionally is one. And sometimes 15 years changes nothing.
back when the '05 mustangs came out, I ordered a corsa axle back. One side was welded wrong and never could fit, even by a muffler shop. Returned for a borla and no problem.
