You are so right Glenn!
I don't want a V8 sound. It is a four cylinder.
I agree with you about the sound. It is one of the best 4 banger sounds I've ever heart.
And believe me.... I've heart a lot of (race) cars in my life. (I organised the European Drift Championship in 2006 till 2011)
But...
Do not know anything about the cars itself sadly. A friend of mine is a truck driver who daily transports brand new cars thru Europe and this is the second time there are this many Mustangs at Zeebrugge.
I'll try...
But I don't have a good camera. Just my phone or the Sony Actioncam.
The actioncam is default in a waterproof housing so the audio on that thing is realy horrible.
This saturday I will get my Borla Catback S-type exhaust system installed.
So I will keep you guys informed about the sound.
And yes... I know. A 4 cylinder will never sound as an 8. But I don't want that.
Just a bit more of a powerfull sound.
Most of the fuses over there get 4.6 volts. I think everything is canbus controlled... No constant 12v over there. I've wired the cam to the back of the power outlet of the center console. Is has a 12v output. But it cuts power after about 90 minutes after shutting down the engine.
But I still...
Reading plates is no problem. I need to know the plates of cars close by eventually.
10 meters in front of the car should be no problem. The camera records in full HD.
In the software there is an option to blow up portions of the recorded movie.
Notes: I still love the reactions of other...
Well , I've got my Blackvue dash cam installed for a couple of days now.
I've installed it behind the rear view mirror. To me this seems the prefect position.
The power is coming from the power outlet. The power is on when the car is running and it keeps on for about 90 minutes after the car...
Here is a picture.
It is all about the yellow fuse (20A).
In the Mustang almost all fuses are the same size as the yellow one.
The blue one is my reference. This is a mini-fuse. You can buy them almost everywhere.
But they are too big. Won't fit.
I've blown a fuse today.
No biggie... (during the installation of my dashcam I've blown one).
I did receive a nice spare light and spare fuses kit of the dealer.
But.... they don't fit. Way too big.
Now I've looked everywhere but these extra, extra small fuses are very rare I think...
I use Isopropynol. But any other min. 80% will do fine.
The alcohol is used to evaporate the fluid faster so you don't have to wait so long for the vinyl to get sticky again.
