I don't really think you can say all of that yet. Hasn't the new Camaro been outselling the Mustang this month? Along with the fact that since the launch of the 2015 mustang it was the better performer. As soon as it wasn't, I'm pretty sure it was no longer the best in sales. Isn't that the...
I hate to fuel any fire, but I agree. From what I've seen, if they were dead even, the z28 would have won. But since the R beat it with no break in, they would just look even more stupid giving it to the Z28 at this point. MT is GM biased as hell. Proven multiple times. Not even a good source to...
I love mustangs and I stand by what I said. Everyone is saying measly horsepower this and not much lighter that. Ok but the camaro accelerates much faster (4 seconds to 150, an ass whoping) pulls more Gs on the skidpad, and gets better gas mileage. Um what part of the huge mustang fan in me is...
Just my two cents. From an all around stand point, it is great and I like the direction. As a racing guy that frequents the track and scene, and aa huge mustang/Ford guy, I don't think they did enough performance wise. GM made weight a primary issue, and did an awesome job. They are making big...
When is this announced? Stiff competition, but the GT had a good showing last year.... I have high hopes
Edit: saw last year's was announced November 11
I don't really think the base c7 is going to beat the 350r. Even if it did, it will be so close, the difference should be what you like better. As a mustang guy, I would take the 350r any day. Again, I don't think the base c7 is gonna hang.
Yeah I'm a stickler about this too, and from the Q&A I think we can hope for the best here. I'm seriously impressed with what I have heard so far, I fully expect it to hang fairly good with the z/28 and have a lot more features and creature comforts. If we have this and a GT500 out at the same...
Well that was a good article, and very interesting with the 1le numbers. If you matched them tire for tire looks like the PP would win handily. Good stuff.
Just going to quote my own post that was sidestepped, with even more info on catalytic converters, this may or may not be valid in the discussion. I just know what I have stated is fact. I'll also be the first to tell you I have no clue about the 15's timing or fuel curve maps. But what I do...
Just because they have the same cat does not mean they are the same across the board? A lot of Cali cars used to be slightly detuned with fuel and timing curves to meet emissions. I'm not saying the 15 is or isnt, I'm just saying the cat proves nothing.
That last sentence is exactly how I feel, but I seem to get trashed talked to when I say that. I really think the PP should have been EQUAL, not demolish, the 1le. With all of the hype and lip service from Ford, I would have thought it would. Still love the car, just disappointed.
Well when talking about a sports car, yeah numbers are pretty important. Especially if someone wants to race their mustang. Plus I always want the mustang to come out on top. Not always going to happen, but as a mustang guy, that's what I'm hoping for.
