Thanks everyone! This is perfect for the family too. Then, I may try to sneak off to Roush and maybe even the Flat Rock Assembly Plant to drool from the fence and pay homage to the GT 350.
Detroit members,
I will be traveling to your area in February for a family visit. I am going to have time on my hands to tool around during the day. Are there any Ford / Mustang destinations I should hit?
Does Ford or Roush offer factory tours?
Any insight will be appreciated since I...
What do you mean by verify? Either your dealer has an allocation for an "R", or they don't.
The person at the dealer in the know is usually a sales manager, GM, owner, or ordering specialist.
I agree. I did the same thing. However, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at the list price of $999. I was thinking it was going to be $1500 to $2500 simply because it's for the "R".
In an effort to break up the arguing I figured it couldn't hurt to throw this out there... (again).
Still searching for an "R" allocation.
Remember, it feels good to help out others.
Any real leads will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Mike
That's so odd. To make sure I was giving my Nationwide rep accurate data I used a real VIN from an "R". I wanted to know worst case scenario in the event I can actually find that car.
Yes, absolutely full coverage. I believe we have a $500 deductible. I used a real VIN from an "R" on the Ford extended inventory site.
This thread made me think to verify this information before going any further with my search.
I just spoke with my Nationwide rep. $660/yr for the "R" (if I can find one). This is based on the car being off the road during the winter months of New England.
44 no tickets or accidents.
Thanks again for the lead Pill.
I PM'ed you the details. Right now, it's a wait and see situation. Since they are only getting one allocation I don't think it will be an "R" unless this is somehow a second allocation that they won by lottery. Usually dealers get 1 "R" for every 3 non "R"'s...
Golf Mill Ford ?
Hi All,
Looking for feedback from anyone that has done business with Golf Mill Ford? I see they are a large dealer that moves a lot of Mustangs.
Are they reputable? Is there anyone specific I should speak to directly?
I am interested in a 2016 GT350 R.
Any...
Has anyone simply called "bull shit" on the field and called Ford to complain about the ADM a dealer is charging?
This is pure speculation but isn't this a customer service issue? If one has the money to purchase the car at MSRP and is willing to do so can't Ford lean on the dealer and get...
What is also interesting is that Ford Performance would productize something for only a very limited number of cars. I'm not trying to read the tea leaves but it does question how limited the production numbers will really be?
Maybe Ford is going to continue this line beyond 2017?
We'll...
Anyone planning on driving their "R" as a DD w/o changing out the CF wheels? If so, what part of the country do you live in?
I am trying to figure out the real feasibility of driving this car on a fairly regular basis (weather permiting). I live in New England.
