Well VAT is 20% plus a bit of duty plus a “handling fee” which is between £10-£20.
I would expect to pay at least ÂŁ240 on top. Making it ÂŁ1340. So you save a bit. However if there are any issues a return will cost you a lot of money. So up to you.... you used to get away with no fees quite...
I recently saw a S550 badged GT500.... it was a modded GT and didn’t even resemble the 500... made me cringe.
It is a sexy bumper... and I will buy one next year
A lot of times it’s a copyright thing. To allow them to sell some places they can’t use names they don’t have rights to. Tbh I wouldn’t want to pretend my GT was a Shelby car so I would fill and smooth the logos before paint. It’s the style I want, not to try to pretend to be something it’s not
Very tempted.... I would have to check the terms to make sure it was refundable if there were any fitting issues. And I think you would have to trial fit before you paid for painting just to be sure.
Or cheaper here... but made of FRP. Looks like it’s available now... waiting for someone to take the risk.

Any chance you could describe what components and the order they go in? And where they are located/which orientation etc. 100k is massive for track miles! Your set-up may be great but equally simply mounting something lower or doing something else different could result in a less reliable...
The supply of oil for the engine comes through the filter, goes through the galleries and this supplies bearings etc. Then after the pressure has been lost when the oil drains back to sump then it can vent away any air. This is too late as the part you don’t want air is in the galleries etc. It...
Cheers for the reply.
If you look at the pic of the block with the manifold attached you can see the engine mount bolts pass through it. Hence the RHD mount sits about a inch off the block which is taken up by the manifold. If you were to remove the manifold as some people have in OZ you would...
Some pics found via lots of google:
This is the RHD oil manifold. Here it is fitted with a sandwich plate, no filter and the OE cooler is replaced with a sensor adaptor.
