  1. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I just love how American car companies are pushing their performance divisions through the roof.
  2. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

No one is saying it is revolutionary. For the record I think this parts bin simpleton of a car will beat the 350R around a road course. GM was saying that they were trying to beat the gen 5 Z28 with this new ZL1 and that they most definitely succeeded. Each manufacturer has given their own...
  3. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

The Mustang is an awesome car and I gladly paid what he did when I bought mine.
  4. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

The deposit is already down at my dealership. The only review that I ever read that had the CTS V overheating was one from Yahoo autos. The packaging between these engine compartments is completely different. This new ZL1 has significantly more air flow to and away from the engine compartment...
  5. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I will wait and see how this turns out before I make my final judgement about the overheating. Let's not forget what happened the last time we assumed too much. GM delivered on everything.
  6. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

Check out Saabkyles video for some cool track lap footage. [ame]
  7. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

CTS-V does 0 to 60 in 3.5 weighing aproximately 4100 pounds. The new ZL1 is 200 pounds lighter and has a 10 speed auto. I think this new Z will hit 60 in around 3.2. I know 0 to 60 is a dumb test but it is the only thing in which we have comparable data at this point.
  8. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

    It certainly isn't any more.
  9. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

I am going out on a limb here and saying that this will outrun the Hellcat and the 350R both on the strip and at the track. I can't wait to see what Ford comes back with though. The GT500 is going to be an absolute monster and needs to be in order to compete with this.
  10. Will Ford Up the Ante on `17 Model Mustangs?

If the 2017 ZL1 just got the 10 speed auto then it is almost confined the 18 Mustang will have it too. It is even possible that the 17 may get it. Apparently the thing shifts so ridiculously fast it puts the 8 speed to shame. USA USA USA!
  11. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

This is the joint 10 speed. However as I have heard it the transmission was Co developed up to a point and then each manufacturer hado free reign to tweak it and develope it further as they pleased. So in the end they may not be exactly the same.
  12. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

Zl1 just released. It will be the first vehicle to have the 10 speed gm/ford auto. God f***king bless america!! Here is a link http://www.autoblog.com/2016/03/16/2017-chevy-camaro-zl1-first-look-3487537/#slide-3832634
  13. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

There have already been shots captured of the zl1 convertible. There most definitely will be one.
  14. The New 2017 ZL1 Camaro

We will find out at 12:01 am. Only a few more hours left. :D
  15. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I just choked on coffee while laughing and legitimately almost died. My fiance rushed in and found me on the floor flopping around like a fish. I always thought the VS section would be the death of me.
  16. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

We will see. The openings all around the front of this car are huge. I bet there was serious focus on airflow due to the overheating issues that the Z06 had because of packaging.
  17. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

    ZL1 debuts in 2 days. https://www.facebook.com/chevycamaro .
  18. 5.0 vs 6.4?

Trust me the noise of the twin turbo eight is not killed. It is gorgeous.
  19. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

I think what he meant was the luxury of having multiple options not necessarily that the sunroof is "luxury". I could definitely see this happening minus the AWD. It would be pretty cool though. It would eat GT-R's easily.
  20. GT350 vs 2017 ZL1

Looks like GM really focused on air flow with this new ZL1. The hood has a different air extractor design than both the z06 and the cts v. Hopefully overheating is not a problem. The SS certainly isn't having problems like the Vette was having. We shall see.
