Hi guys, for mine it was much more complicated and time consuming. Unfortunately I did not get to talk with the technician, but they told me the entire rear trunk harness had to be replaced, lot's of trim had to come off, I had to leave my car with the dealer because it was a four hour plus job...
Blipzyc, look for a post from member CVCashmere on this forum for some good information, I tried to connect the post or thread but couldn't figure it out
Look for posts #88 and 93 regarding recalls for this specific issue
Hello Blipzyc I finally took my 2017GT in for the recall, and I'm very glad I did
I postponed this for a very long time because the only thing not working was the trunk light, no other problems at all
BUT, they found the entire harness was bad, and it was more than a four hour job to replace...
Hi Jacob,
I installed the differential bushing inserts in my convertible, White line I believe (black)
They came with all the bolts, no nuts involved in this application
On the front the stock long bolt is replaced with a medium length bolt through the rear, and a shorter bolt to hold the...
Hi poneyexp, there may be a way to do that in one of the modules, but highly not recommended
The sensors are there for a good reason and could save you problem going down the road (literally) it's very likely you have one with a weak or dead battery, a competent tire shop can help you with this.
It would be a wise move to do both front and rear yes, the front are difficult, but if you are on a lift use a screw jack to lower the diff and subframe with front subframe bolts removed while keeping the rear only loosened the front differential bushing inserts are much easier to access that...
Hi Sloppy, that's a good question. The manufacturers of the solid billet inserts recommend them for track and racing applications. I have the black polyurethane inserts on the subframe and differential mounts. I haven't noticed any additional NVH, but I have 90 percent hearing loss in one ear...
Hi Oakley, I'm still at it. Got all black bushing inserts in subframe and differential, better, but not there yet. I want to do Steeda adjustable shocks, but have to plot out my performance upgrade choices carefully vs bean counter; so I was wondering if single adjustable or double adjustable...
Hello CVCashmere! Thanks for your response and feedback. The car is a PP1 and while installing subframe bushing inserts and differential bushing inserts and alignment pins, made sure that substantial subframe connector for convertibles was tight. When money ahead I want to do Steeda adjustable...
Hi S550HPP
Thanks for your quick response, much appreciated
My car is a stock 2017 GT convertible PP1 manual transmission, 3.70 gears
I recently installed subframe bushing inserts, alignment pins, and differential bushing inserts.
Still hoppin
Steeda adjustable rear shocks (single or double...
Hello davidkrocks I have a wheel hop issue and was wondering if you know how to get ahold of Rodney
Or if this is tj@stteeda, I hope I can connect with someone
Hello Mustang friends. As promised I said I would report on my efforts to prevent wheel hop on 2017 GT convertible, 6m, PP1, 3.70, Pirelli PZero tires.
Installed subframe bushing inserts (black), differential bushing inserts (black), and alignment pins. Convertibles have a substantial two piece...
