There are many manual MT-82 transmission threads here elsewhere on the forum with regards to some quirks or anomalies associated with the Getrag MT-82 manual gearbox. Cold shift stiffness seems to be one of those anomalies. Some folks have changed gearbox lubrication fluid to after market...
Had an interesting experience with the Pirelli P Zero's on dry (but decidedly cold) pavement a couple of weeks ago. My vehicle is garage kept ( but is not heated) and temperatures were well below zero the day I took the vehicle out. Even after what I thought was more than suitable warm-up time...
Guess when he looked over at me he couldn't see the State trooper even though he had to look down into my cockpit...and BTW, his plates and decals indicated he was from Maryland and a Ravens fan (we live in the heart of Steeler Country)
Ha! Good one! The DAY I purchased the GT and drove it home from Central PA, I was stopped at a four way light on a slight upgrade when a rather LOUD sounding Dodge Pickup (it even said "Hemi" on the side) pulled aside and started revving the engine. The guy kept revving and revving until I shot...
. Do as Joe Walsh sang when he played for the Band James Gang and "Walk Away"...there are plenty of dealers out there that will work with you, especially with cash in hand and believe me, that car you walk away from will sell!
Shop around...FYI, I too could not gain access to a lift so I had a dealer install it for me (and he took my old 5.0 GT exhaust as trade in for labor and for recycling)...paid less than 75.00 out the door!
It seems like more and more corporate surveys are handled akin to any rerun of "Family Feud" (...the survey said!) without creepy Richard Dawson trying to grope your spouse like Joe Biden!

Cons: Longish in the snout and a tad too much of a European grille design with a smallish (as far as body length) rear end
Pros: Width to accommodate the suspension mods is excellent as is flow and form of body lines. Ground effects are not overbearing and front headlights look like a COBRA...
The P-Zero's compound (as all of us can attest) is quite hard now with winter temperatures even making Gnome Alaska warm by comparison so it doesn't surprise me that the outer ridge would literally "Chip" akin a hard piece of vulcanized rubber (even more reason to NOT drive on these rolling...
. Used to fly for Aircare 5 out at the airport...great roads there for a spin in the Mustang...route 33 into WV would be great as would a trip across the ridge from Front Royal to Natural Bridge
. Already had my GT try to swap ends on me on a DRY western Pennsylvania road while negotiating a 90 degree turn at low speed but a slight blip of the throttle! Lesson learned (but boy was it cool except for the poor Lady behind me who blew out her Depends watching my posterior wiggling to and...
I purchased my Magna Flows thru Jegs. I called both Jegs AND Magna Flow and both said they would stand by any warranty unless the product was shown to be modified or altered other than by Magna Flow itself. When I asked to be more specific Magna Flow said that specifically to the mufflers...
