Was the engine ever looked at? Throwing a rod or cracking the block doesn't usually end w the car engulfed in flames. Overheated cats, spiked engine temps, spilled fluids or fuel or something.
You can stop there, it won't. Even the more popular set it and forget it junk boxes that actually add power like the JMS PedalMax are a half-assed, Walmart, corner-cutting, backyard lobotomy for getting more power out of the modern engine management systems Ecoboosts use. They mask dumb...
Piece of crap, as are most of these plug and play things.
Not to mention I just made up a combo for my '2012 Mustang Ecoboost V8' from the drop down menu's, put it in my cart and its about to let me buy it. If you want good, reliable power buy a Cobb AccessPort or a Lund NGuage. They are the...
External boost gauges and BOV's can throw codes on this car. Do a search for 'Mustang Ecoboost Boost Reference Adapter' and take your pick. They are all designed to fix that problem.
The preferred place to tap into is the MAP sensor on top of the throttle body. Guide here...
I don't think you'll get the most out of the NX2 on the 255 tires. Consider a wider set or just swapping the wheels out completely.
The stock PP wheels are nice, I had them, but they are also heavy as hell. If they're anything like the GT wheels they've got to be well over 60 pounds (w tire on)...
Your downpipe is really your only significant power mod. You won't get anywhere close to 400whp, especially on 91 octane and until that intercooler goes on, its going to feel even slower once the motor heat soaks after sitting at a few red lights.
You're first order of biz should be to order an...
10K miles or every other oil change is a good interval. Plugs are cheap. I ' personally' change oil every 3,000 miles but I'm tuned and drive hard in a hot climate. Plugs and oil are things this car loves to eat.
Charge Air Temperature, Ignition Correction for any of the cylinders, Air/Fuel...
With your mods I think that's stage 3. Not sure, a quick Email to Cobb could tell you.
I keep mine mounted on the windshield just to the right of the left tweeter speaker (so just above the headlight controls) so it stays within my vision and I don't have to take my eyes off the road. I wrap...
I'd stick with the OEM Motor-craft plugs unless you're going a step colder, and in that case get the NGK 6510s. I'm not really sure how common the stock plug gap issue is but its probably pretty rare. When I checked mine they were spot on and I had an early 2015 build date back they could barely...
If you're concerned about drone, an aftermarket resonator from Vibrant is very cheap, small and light. Its a good option to swap in place of the factory resonator. As said by @turbotigger604, it will give it some refinement. No res and no mufflers just sounds like cheap, junkyard crap.
With the cap mod or one of those adapters they sell, the system is still going to be operating electronically. A mechanical bov might be what you're looking for.
Did your caretaker leave the front door unlocked again? Wrong forum. Unless you deliberately came here to seek out someone to talk shit to. In that case, you've obviously got some bigger, personal issues going on.
The S550 is just designed like that. If you search for ' rear rake' or 'spring spacers' you'll find a ton of ppl with the same prob. When I put my Steeda linear's on, I had the same stance as yours. I don't think the 1/4" rear spacer will raise it up enough for you. I threw a 3/8" spacer back...
