Did you blow through the catch can discharge side hose to make sure the check valve is working correctly?
Blow - it should pop open, suck, and it will close.
6000 km's on mine, no issues.
Might put the original hose on at some stage and go for a drive to see if I can feel any difference...
Ok when you say 'loose traction'
Are we talking:
A) a whole bunch of slip and then wagging of the hips, or
B) still pointing in a straight line, but feeling like you're either just slipping (controllably) or at the very limit of the grip?
I'm in B).
Never really had A), like you...
Yeh I don't know about this either.
In the dry, if the car is pointing dead straight and you are rolling in 1st, and you floor it through the gears, mine doesn't light up. Maybe a very, very small amount between 1st and 2nd sometimes, but essentially it has plenty of traction like this if...
Thanks Anne for keeping us in the loop with the Mustang club!
Unfortunately (fortunately?) i'm on the dirt bike this Sunday so i'll be getting my thrills in other ways.
Please take lots of phots!
Has the Corsa got double X? I think that with the right mufflers it'd certainly make some lovely noises.
I think the stock mufflers could make it sound a bit too tinny with the X pipe so H is probably the way to go with the stock mufflers
"In my head" by QOTSA
I first heard it on NFSU2 and fell in love with QOTSA. Massive fan now.
I had always loved modifying and racing the S197 in the game...
Ahhh the memories.
Now I can't figure out if that's a real Mustang or if it's just a toy mustang
Kaps any drone at all?
I'm so close to doing a H or X pipe but ideally i'd like to hear someone else first.
Find out what oil your dealer uses and provide them with better stuff if theirs is just bulk buy rubbish with the 'correct' viscosity but incorrect protection
Kaps
I did the interior and rear lights in 5 mins, so no worries there
The fogs - did you have to jack up the front of the car? Or just stick ya hands in and have a feel?
I looked under the car and thought "fark that, i'll do those with bumper off"
Drive, drive, drive it.
I've got used to the 'initial' sensitivity of the brake, and then I find that i've compensated for it and learned to heel toe by 'soft rolling' the outside of my foot onto the throttle as i'm braking. Also use sport+ or track setting for more sensitive throttle.
I...
hooo boy. I really don't want to get into this haha
I'm a fan of aftermarket filters but mostly because of the cost of yearly replacement by local Ford dealer likely to pay for itself in 1 or two services. Like you've said. So there's no real net cost to pay.
I'll read the whole link...
Oooh AFE pro dry looks good too!
Where'd ya get it? From aFe it looks like 10% off first purchase, + shipping.
Did you put the aFe stickers on the rear side windows?
That would have netted an additional +1Hp each side :D
