dude me too! I am being 100% honest I was actually a little sad that it wasn't the one I kept because they look damn good. i might get around to painting my steeda eventually.
that's why I did back to back runs and put the jlt back on :) it was perfect weather for both, around 50 degrees outside...a welcome cold front to houston.
as for changing from one to another, I sold my jlt intake for 250 while the steeda was somewhere around the 350 mark. after switching I'd...
Just got back from getting lunch and I paid close attention.
Ambient 73 .... while driving intake inlet temp was 77.
when i got back to work i stayed parked in my car for 5 minutes~ but the last 2 or 3 minutes the temp quit rising. it stopped at 98 and then bounced between 97 and 98.
there...
You are obviously a very special individual. I was SO SKEPTICAL like you of their claims that I spent my money on a second intake just with the intent of being able to see there was NO CHANGE. i did not expect a change at all, not in the least. i thought it was pretty stupid since in the past...
btw, little bit of reading on the velocity stack. i had no clue what it was, I just thought it looked cool but didn't understand it's purpose.

You're very welcome! Just wait for my santa hat avatar thread after thanksgiving ^_^
I am going to have to ask you to take that bra off your car though, we want to see her goodies! XD
What I did was get ceramic paint coating and now I just hose off the car every few days, and drive it on the highway to dry it. the ceramic coating also keeps dirt from sticking to the paint as well in general.
lol he is obviously saying the tune for a different maf size could cause issues. however I haven't had any, but still do not intend to stay on this tune as said above.
There will be about 20-40 houston s550s at the dyno day so we are thinking about testing a few different intakes out all on the same car. Nothing I can really do until lund responds with my new tune, which will hopefully be today. Monitoring everything with the ngauge and it all seems normal...
I have no idea, but it is pretty strange it works and is noticeably faster! if it becomes even more refined with the steeda specific lund tune that will be awesome.
yeah I sold it for super cheap IMO. I wanted to get it sold so I could post this thread lol. I'd definitely go with the steeda intake to any new buyer....but for anyone looking to save a little cash, a used jlt will do pretty decent in the end.
