Hello I had a tire patched and afterwords I saw this. They said nothing they do for the patch touches that area. Does anyone know if they could have caused this? Pretty much the same pattern right above it, on the opposite part of the rim. It kind of looks like teeth of a machine. Thanks!

I just got done doing it myself and man it is shitty work. I can see why shops charge what they do. And to get it done right, without damaging your car and sounding good; it's worth the money.

Hey Mod, I talked to you today about troubleshooting the screen, and the little 5 amp fuse was blown :) I wish I would have called a couple weeks ago.

There's a 5 amp fuse connected to the harnesses that came with the screen and that was blown. Problem fixed. Thanks for all the help, though.

Believe so. Start to the far right (sitting in the car) and start ripping things off.

Well I think I've checked the right wires for power to the screen. The red is constant and that was fine. The ground read at .01 at the lowest ohms setting on the mm. I think the ignition is the white and green wire that comes from the starter relay, but I'm not sure. It's not as easy to check...

Anyone know of any fuses I could check? I did find this one blown #54 Auxiliary power point, but that didn't do anything. I'm beginning to think it is the unit. I'm not sure what could have happened.

Hello all, I had my unit on before, so I know it works. I soldered my LOC back there; hooked everything back up, and no screen. Amp turns on and speakers work. No music, tho. Unhooked everything and reinstall- still no screen. Checked fuses 32 and 33 by the kick panel and they were good. All...

Here's what drilling a hole looks like. This took less then 5 minutes and basically looks like it came that way.

Just curious, why not just stick them inside the door? I'm trying to figure out the best way to wire these speakers.

One thing I did when taking the second panel off; I bent a coat hanger, kinda like the dentist tool, and it came right off easily.

I ended up putting a small flat head in the hole at the top and just kept prying. It Came out pretty easily.

I've been watching that. He's using some special tool, and doesn't go into detail on getting that out. I actually found a nice little tool- a paint can opener; been going at it from the left side, but a stubborn little plate!
