  1. 285's on OEM 20"?

agreed, 285 are too wide for those oem
  2. 20x10 on the front widest tire

driver-side? maybe cut back on the pancakes Brian! ;)
  3. Miro type 398. I need help with tires

nice t37 knock-off look to them... you won't even need the spacers with the 34mm offset on the 9.5" wheel. Go for 275/40/18 for a good choice of tires, as that wheel should take them perfectly, and you can grab nitto NT-05 in that size for $200ish per pretty easily out there. Going any smaller...
  4. 20x10 on the front widest tire

agree with Norm, stick to a 285 max width on those 10" with a 35-40 offset(40mm being max you'd want to go in towards the suspension side of things). nice find Nick, which wheels are those? we can add them to the lightweight 20" thread out here too.
  5. ST coilovers available for 2015 mustang

that's a shame POOP, it would be a really fun experience, and those V1 would work great for you there...
  6. Coilovers Available for the S550 (LIST) - Seeking inputs and opinions

I'm with you Impulsed, used to track days, and plenty of M3 experience... they would tear up stock top mounts easily. Imagine a newer e93 convertible weight(3800+lbs) car having its inboard rear spring load over a broader cross-section now being shrunk down and combined to 2-bolt 5" load point...
  7. So what are the lightweight 20" wheel options for the S550?

The 20x9.5 +35 offset S-Sport tirerack has listed for $119 closeout should have fit all 4 corners perfectly with no rubbing... The Y-sport 20x10 +40 offset for $99 also should fit all 4 corners excellent with no rubbing. You must have received the wrong wheel offset if it was rubbing anything on...
  8. Post Pix of your S550 with aftermarket wheels and tires

@QKHORSE - love the distinct wheels choice, and would love to see more angles and specs on them... unfortunately hate the neon accents. That car would look so mean with just the flat stripe accent and leaving the neon out of it... right now it looks like a high-school-kid with no style putting...
  9. So what are the lightweight 20" wheel options for the S550?

Here's a decent one that would look great on that blue, saves 3-4 pounds per wheel over PP, reasonable price, and gives a 20x10.5 square setup to put 295/30/20s all the way around if you want...
  10. So what are the lightweight 20" wheel options for the S550?

now you're talking! In 20x10 those Y-Sport at 32lbs they only save about 1lb from stock PP, but at least they give you more width for a square setup at all four corners...and for $99 like you said, that's hard to beat. noticed your S-Sports above also come in 20x9.5 for those wanting a width...
  11. So what are the lightweight 20" wheel options for the S550?

275 will definitely fit fat on an 8.5" wheel... for a real winter tire setup you should have stuck with the skinnier 255 on that size wheel. how much exactly did that 8.5" wide wheel weigh? I think the point in this thread is lightweight performance wheels...so wheels coming in lighter and...
  12. Coilovers Available for the S550 (LIST) - Seeking inputs and opinions

exactly my thoughts... hopefully aFe can shine some light on their design reasoning.
  13. Lateral acceleration

totally agree with Whiskey... Those SVE wheels look good to go along with the best bang for buck. Pair them with either the 285/35/19 Goodyear F1 Supercar, bridgestone potenza s04, or even the BFG gforce sport comp2 will get you a very nice setup for ~$1600 which you could get most back out of...
  14. Coilovers Available for the S550 (LIST) - Seeking inputs and opinions

@aFe - glad to see your presence in the thread! I posted this in your sway bar thread, but figured this may be the place to cover it instead... some questions come to mind on the aFe coil-overs, and I don't see another solo thread yet for them so I'll ask the aFe folks here. - Besides some...
  15. New Product Release aFe CONTROL Sway Bar Set For The 2015 Ford Mustang (S550)

These are some nice looking products... quite the massive rear bar! some questions come to mind on the coil-overs though, and I don't see another thread yet for them so I'll ask the aFe folks here... Besides some weight savings, what was the purpose of moving the spring to the shock? Not to...
  16. Must have mods?

You need absolutely nothing to drift this car around town... power-adders, suspension, more steering angle, is all pro-level stuff you don't need to worry about. I used to "drift" the crap outta my 1979 Camaro with its emissions choked 170 if I was lucky horsepower. All it had was a factory LSD...
