I wanted max flow w/o LT's (Chicago smog tests). I bought a set of 3" MAK cat delete pipes so I won't have to fab all those bends and then welded a pair of GESi hi-flo cats into the MAK pipes at the same location as the OEM cats. I now have a full 3" system from headers to tips. I may be wrong...
Sorry to catch you after your purchase, but especially being in Ontario, you should check out Gesi cats. Best hi-flo available and yes they will get you loud.
They're not installed yet but they will be flanged to the OEM header both sides. The MAK delete pipes will get cut and welded at the cat end to take into account the shorter length needed. Still debating a flex section or two. Hopefully will get a decent gain without LT's as I wanted to avoid...
Or you could just get the one's Ford copied like I did.

More specifically I'm looking for a 3" to run between a set of GESi HO cats and the business end of a Corsa Sport Catback. Lethal used to sell a "bottleneck eliminator" but that was discontinued long ago. I know I can piece them together with standard exhaust bend parts, but wondered if anyone...
