I had a deposit on one of the recalled cars until this week. I got twitchy and found one two hours away. Dealer was great to work with. Drove my new one home yesterday.

This is making me twitchy. I have one held with a deposit now. But, have found one without and called today to work on pricing.

I'm getting a bit frustrated waiting for a fix. I've got a deposit on a 17' and it's still sitting on the dealer show floor with no answer in the foreseeable future.

I agreed on a price with the dealer after the recall. We can't complete the sale until it's fixed. In the meantime, they are taking 'care' of it.

Voodooo, that's perfect. My 17' is sitting on the show floor until they can sell it. Looks like it'll be Feb or March before I get it.

Does it instruct you to make an appointment? Or, any timeframe?

I'd love to drive it. The dealership is forbidden from completing the sale until the recall is remedied. It's really ok anyway, we will have snow and ice on the ground in a few days. :mad:
