I considered another color, but as a lifelong Van Halen fan, I usually, even subconsciously, end up preferring some combination of red, white and black. :)
So in my car with the digital dash, I click the music button on the steering wheel.
That shows the source list.
Choosing one of those takes you to your presets. At the bottom of the list for the first bank, you’ll see the selection for the 2nd and 3rd banks.
Don’t know if that...
Yeah, I go back and forth. I like the blending in of the color match, but there's enough black on the car that that works too. I tend to prefer subtle over dramatic, but probably won't fully decide till I click "add to cart". :)
Yeah, I watched a video of someone else installing the RTR vents I think, and they had trouble getting the stock vents out too. I might get these paint matched ones and try later this spring or summer though. We'll see if I keep wanting something there enough to give it a go. :)
I was curious if they could maybe be mounted without removing the front bumper. Basically just using 3M tape. I don't have much interest in tearing apart my car, but it looks like they might not have enough surface space to hold on tape alone and may need that spot in the replacement vent to...
Mine are too.
My thinking on these vents is I kind of like the Air Design ones, but those felt to me like they needed something inside to complete the look, then Foose released these which is kind of what I had in mind. Maybe i'll just wait to see if some real world pics pop up before deciding.
I think I like these more than the Roush, RTR or Air Design solutions. What's everyone else think?

Yeah it's funny, having come from a '16 Focus I thought the hood on my Mustang was quite big and long, and while the modern car is overall I think a little bigger/wider, or like you said, more stout, the hood on the '64 seems even longer to me.
Ok this was a cool one. Saw this and had to park next to it of course. He was loading up his groceries when I walked out of the store so I said "Nice car". Older guy who was very nice and willing to put up with me for a minute.
He said it's a 64 1/2. All original except it was repainted around...
1 month into owning mine so I still enjoy parking next to the Mustang on the back line of a parking lot. Mostly because I find it funny that there's almost always another one there. :giggle:
Before anyone comments on parking lines, it's an out of the way area of a mostly empty parking lot. Big trailer to the left of me, RV to the right. Anyway, just my 2nd day with the car, so couldn't resist getting the pic when I saw the other. :)
