This material is very easy to install.
I did it myself too. Not really perfect but good enough for me.
p/s: to avoid bubble , you need to buy 3M vinyl wrap with air release channel (mine was dried installed and didn't a single bubble)
Do it my self :
- $26 for spring compressor toll
- $10 for 21mm socket
- $55 for alignment.
Personally, i think auto shops are greedy to charge >$200 for spring installation.
Can we just cut existing valence like people did with previous gen ? I have base GT so rear bumper+ diffuser is 1 piece, therefore i can't buy Roush quad-exhaust valence (only for 2-piece diffuser on premium model)
I just got this problem yesterday. Already did master reset SYNC but didn't help. I will try to disconnect battery and the SYNC fuse before take my car to dealer. Kind of annoying.
@davekro: 8" inch matte metallic blue . The pin stripes are black. i just bought a 5'x5' bue and 1'Ă—5' black vinyl wrap and cut them by myself. Never done anything with vinyl wrap before so i dont know what to comment about quality but they are 3M with air release channel for easy...
i just finished this myself. Surely it isn't perfect as done by professional but i had good time while doing something for my car and also saved me almost $300.
