Flex fuel is also available from Palm Beach Dyno so there are options my tune has been working great and making good power I have been running it for about 1000 miles so far.
454 is still pretty strong and I have had more than a few revisions... So I would imagine you can get 10 plus more with some fine tuning.
My ngauge was reading as high as it goes I believe 76.7 I am sure it was E80 plus in the tank which is more than enough for NA.
The benefit is you can run any combo of 93 and E85 fuel having just an E85 tune I would imagine you can only safely run E85.
I like the convenience of a flex fuel tune sometimes putting E85 in the car isn't an option.
I guess the benefit of just an E85 tune would be possibly a little more...
My 2018 GT A10 stock baseline was 418 rwhp and 399 rwtq
My final results with JLT CAI, Palm Beach Dyno flex fuel tune and E85 pump fuel was:
474 rwhp and 424 rwtq all results were SAE corrected. <=== Best run however I was seeing consistent 469 rwhp and 420+ rwtq runs... peak HP was around...
I was just curious if others have experimented with this to figure out what the best overall mix would be.
I honestly doubt NA cars actually need E85 (108 octane) to run max timing...
And since gasoline is more efficient it might be beneficial to run close to the required ethanol for...
Yes the GT PP and GT350 use the same radiator if you want more cooling you would have to step up to a Mistimoto radiator which claims to provide 77% more cooling capacity over the GT PP radiator and 129% more than the base GT radiator.
From what I have noticed when I have the car on the dyno drive modes are disabled if there is a way to fix that please let me know...
I need to ask my tuner about the 7100 rpm limit but I am guessing it is a speed limit issue my car is a 3.15 geared car and I am doing around 181 - 182 MPH...
So I have been working with my tuner Rob Shoemaker of Palm Beach Dyno and I think he has the car dialed in for the most part and I'm very happy with my results so far.
My car made 410 rwhp stock and with the speed limiter removed on the stock calibration it made 418 rwhp.
I then put on the...
I did some testing with my 2018 GT 10r80 car this weekend...
So on Friday, I did a baseline 100% stock on 93 pump gas. I asked the tuner Rob Shoemaker of Palm Beach Dyno to provide a tune that just removed the speed limited so I could get a full pull in 7th gear. Here is a chart of both...
I think everyone is forgetting that he is getting a 2018 and with the front end changes and lower hood these recommendations might not work on the 18 until these company tweak things to fit the 18's
Yeah but what kind of dyno, correction factor or what gear was being used... a lot of things can make a car run less HP on a dyno the thing that everyone should focus on is the difference which was and that 29 doesn't seem like a lot for the changes that were made...
Also you have a 10r80 and...
Did you data log the dyno runs? If so I would have Lund look at them and see if there is anything going on with the knock sensors and see what kind of timing the car is running...
Some say it is right on par I still think it is off some... and it never hurts to have the tuner look things...
True but that is what the correction is for it should keep things close so you can see what gains were actually made. Based on the mods and his baseline dyno it seems like his result are good but could be better or should be better. Baseline 430 and after headers CAI and Tune only picking up 29...
For me the PP1 wasn't worth the extra money for a few reasons...
The main reason is the PP wheels they may look cool and use to think so as well but after 4 years of the same wheel I am tired of that look plus they are one of the hardest wheels to clean lol... and the fact that they are lead...
Yeah 301A is like base plus doesn't seem like a base car at that level... the only noticeable difference between the 400A and 301A is the leather seats and everything that comes with them.
So I can see a lot of people getting the 301A package over a 400A car... I am sure there are other...
For me it is sound I am a bigger fan of the H-pipe sound besides the performance is minimal unless maybe you combine it with headers which I might do down the road but for now it is to pick up a deeper deeper exhaust note.
