Comp Cams Stage 2 (Part number 433430). I decided to do the cams and intake at the same time since I had the engine apart to do the OPG's and the CS. Lund did the tune.
All good. My first experience was in my 65 Mustang Fastback. It had a manual transmission with a reverse lockout. I got into the burnout box and thought I had it in first gear...nope! A reverse burnout, that car jumped about a foot off the ground. I still hear about it today. That was back...
To be fair, I have over 10 years of drag racing experience, however, this was my first time taking this car to the strip! Racing a newer car is interesting.

I buy it at the pump and I ALWAYS test it before I put it in my car. Fuel was good! I definitely will leave the line from idle next time to see how that works!
The local dyno shop has had MANY MANY s550 Mustangs on their Dynojet. They have only had one of them make over 500 hp, it was like 503 give or take. Mine made the 2nd highest NA numbers they have seen, but I'm the only customer they have had with the CJ and cams.
It is a full weight car, on AirLift Performance Suspension with Viking shocks on the rear, a VMS drag pack. I have no idea what it weighs. I don't know what the DA was that night either.
I didn't do any logs at the track. I have been driving the car for a couple summers as it sits, just never got it to the drag strip. I did talk to Lund about this and they asked that I record some logs for them next time I go.
