  1. 2018 + rumor mill... let's hear it!

Well I stand corrected then, thanks. I did not see that.
  2. 2018 + rumor mill... let's hear it!

I'm not sure if it's certain either way; haven't seen anything confirming production will continue or end beyond 2017?
  3. 2018 + rumor mill... let's hear it!

So I'm very curious to find out about what everyone has heard for GT350/R production for 2018 and beyond; several conflicting reports, but would be interesting to compile what people are hearing and from where/whom. So far I have heard that the GT350/R will continue into the future...
  4. Bunch of GT350R's For Sale

All of the R allocations at Five Star Ford of Stone Mountain, GA ($20k ADM) are now gone I believe; they had 4 available about a week ago.
  5. Found a GT350R but not sure about the color...

Plain jane AG is my fav (not sure on painted black roof or not...)
  6. Performance Shift Indicator is kinda useless....

Actually found it as one of the most useful features when driving it at Sebring during the Track Tour. Used that as a shift reference rather than the tach (I hate the speedo & tach gauge setup in the Mustangs... plz don't kill me) :D
  7. GT350 Warranty for Track Use ??

As a former insurance fraud investigator for a Fortune 500 insurance company, I can confirm this is the case :D
  8. If you guys wanna see how the GT350 performs at the track...

Thanks for joining us at Road ATL!
  9. Cost of going to the track...

Lots of good info in here. I run track days for a living, so feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
  10. GT350 Warranty for Track Use ??

Has an updated supplement been released with the new language regarding "timed" track use? Current one online (Ver 1) still says any track use will result in loss of warranty coverage.
  11. New for 2017 GT350

Ford looked at the Track Pack and Tech Pack and was like
  12. Track Day Drivers - What are you doing about the lack of Tow Hooks on the car?

I'm thinking something like the formula or prototype cars, tow point on the highest point of the car... an eye bolt through the roof of the GT350 should suffice :D:lol:
  13. Limp Mode on the Track

Bossing, for our Sebring event, I think you should run the entire Happy Hour session at the end of the day for "research purposes" to see just how long the Track Pack's can run at full song :headbang::D:cheers:
  14. Track Day Drivers - What are you doing about the lack of Tow Hooks on the car?

If the front bumper is reportedly not strong enough to support a tow hook, then the above mentioned aftermarket option may be a bad idea, as it mounts to the bumper... The front hook points underneath may not be accessible if you go into a gravel pit.
  15. Found GT3 VS GT350 video

Bossing, nice! I was there Monday for The Track Tour (PM session, Red group) with two of our chief instructors, and then came back Tuesday for a second helping (PM session, Red group again). Mark Schaller brought the cars over on Sunday to shake them down before the event on Monday, which was...
  16. Found GT3 VS GT350 video

One of our chief instructors, Jim P., may be one of the few human beings on earth to have taken a PP GT350R around the full course on a track day, if you want him for some advanced instruction! He's a Mustang guy (has the tattoo to prove it...) Actually, when you bring the GT350 he'll probably...
  17. Found GT3 VS GT350 video

Yep, that was at our Chin Motorsports event this past weekend! We've got another one signed up in April... Bossing, come out and join us! Apr 2-3.
  18. 2017 MY GT350

IMSA's regulations for car eligibility in Conti is 500 units per year minimum... not 3,600. Page 2 - Section 2- Car Eligiblity: http://www.imsa.com/sites/default/files/uploads/2015%20CTSC%20Technical%20Regulations%20FINAL%20%20(3).pdf And just like politics, IMSA can be bought, so that...
  19. Request to GT350 Owners

Mother of god. Every time a Black GT350 pops up on the forums, it knocks me back in my chair a bit. In some cases I feel that black "masks" some of the unique features of the GT350, but damn does it look sinister.
  20. Anyone wish they'd gone with an R instead?

After having the unique opportunity to drive BOTH cars, the R and non-R at Sebring (was there for both days of the Track Tour), I can honestly say that the tires absolutely make the difference on track. Your average driver would not notice the difference between the showroom floor R and a Track...
