Are we talking 1LE SS? If so what year?
I drove older model with A8 on Hwy14 and big tujunga and the thing got its tranny overheated in about 30 minutes in. Butt dyno wise it didn't feel any faster than the MY19 GT PP1.
1LE ZL1? Never got a chance.
And it's only going to get worse as more EVs, and federal incentives for manufacturers to crank them out, enter market over next few years. Entry level stuff starts in mid 40k (mach-e, models, id4) after tax, the mid tier is almost 80k and top end is deep into six figures. Hold on to your 5.0s...
The thing was shifting like a dream then I started noticing a sound that I can only describe as bicycle chain slacking and hitting solid boundary when upshifting car was cold, the sound would go away after hardware warmed up. Then within a 5-day window it went from shifting harshly to slipping...
I got nothing against EV mustang (coupe) and Mach-E looks (other than that peg of a door handle) if it was called something else. Ford wants performance equestrian sub-brand? Great, there is a galloping one for go fast grand coupe type, bucking one for off road type already, just make another...
I'm a millenial. Had fox body in HS, 3.7 v6 in and out doctorate, and s550 5.0 for the past two years. The only people truly capable of killing the mustang are in Ford corporate/exec suites.
Meanwhile my boomer neighbor street parks this right in front of my door :/
Unless Ford makes it lighter, at least s197 curb weight spec, and sorts out QC shenanigans like underfilled trans fluid or 401A trim with constantly buzzing interior panels, I'll pass. Latest and greatest tech and other gimmicks are no interest to me.
No carvana offer, but here is wroom.
Not bad considering it was roughly 48k new. It also had undefilled ATF level from factory and after 2 (failed) dealer "repairs" makes thumping noise when shifting 1-2-3, 3-2-1.
Congrats, looks sharp!
This may be an odd question, but does the latest model year have larger gap between bottom edge of the passenger headlight and fender than the one on the driver side? Or did Ford fix it at last?
Right under that hose. Two things, 1. Don't be alarmed if the valve feels somewhat loose upon touch it should be. 2. If you pull it out, you will have to replace it with new one, the grommet is compromised upon removal.
Yeah...No. Especially not in California. Tremendous wealth and engineering resources mixed with hopelessly out of touch law making.
Your argument would only make sense if the state would reverse it's 'ban it now' stance on all nuclear. No renewable energy can supply the grid at its current...
Yes. Just got it to 20k.
This is my daily and weekend hoon drive all-in-one. Because of COVID, summer riots and fires this car barely put 1000mi last year. Ironically before I did this diy, I thought I snagged a unicorn - the car has had no body/cosmetic snafus, no 2k rattle and burns zero oil...
Changed my spark plugs today. Factory gaps were all over the place, from .039 to 0.05. Also all but one (the one with least oil-carbon gunk) were not torqued, I could get the other seven going with very little load on the wrench.
Yeah..I had it in June. I dodged it for months being employed by SF based Cruise, but contracted it while starting a new job in SoCal (classified as essential work site because of defense related activity) in office from someone who was sick but was pressured not to work from home. We all wore...
