The reason the dealers do not give extra, in fact they offer lower to heavily modded vehicles is they are harder to sell, and most customers are not willing to pay for the mods especially if they don't care for or want the mods you have added. As soon as you specialize a vehicle with your mods...
The seller is totally out to lunch, at best he would be lucky to get half back on his add-ons. The majority of buyers are not interested in what was added, those that are should be smart enough to know that the seller will have to take a big hit on there mods and hop-ups.
I'm old school, the chrome rocks. Wasn't sure at first but when you had the two stacked, I was sold on the chrome, really like the way the wheels stand out.
Cause when you trade it in, they will claim the market has fallen and they won't be able to sell it for that. But a week later they will list it for 10k over market value and tell all potential buyers that is where the market is for them.

It stands for Dual Action it is a special polisher design for doing paint corrections and polishing vehicles. The Dual action makes it harder to burn through the clear coat.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy used if I could find the right car. I would be particular about what I would, buy, cause I have the ability to buy new if needed. But for a car that is not a daily driver if I could save 15k or so on a 2-3 year old car I would definitely give it a good hard look
While the clay bar may do the trick, would still follow up with a good polish using a DA polisher, to get rid of any fine scratches left from claying the vehicle.
