Well, to start off, I've had the car since 8/24/15 and have already made some changes to it. However, I wanted to put it all in one place to keep track of my progress as I have a lot more planned. This was my first ever mustang and I'm incredibly happy with it so far. My only regret is not...
Same here. OP's deal is a steal, in my opinion. I ended up getting my base for 30, which I thought was a good deal off sticker... compared to this it's nothing!
Buy it and enjoy OP
Where have you seen it at this price? Vendor discount?
So the SW performance connect wont bolt up with say a corsa sport with the neck down piece removed? I was under the impression that the little adapter could be removed and it would mate with SW performance connect. Would it be too short...
That's kinda what I figured as well. For the like $30 more, you can get SW. I was thinking we might see a drop in MBRP pricing if they weren't selling well due to people expecting them to be cheaper like the cat-backs.
Sub for interest. I've been leaning towards the performance connect from SW but I would love to hear about the MBRP offering as I have had their exhausts before.
edit: maybe beefcake can chime in on their experience.
Really thinking about getting these... almost $1400 less than long tubes (including installation) for only about 10 less HP... Long tubes worth the $140 per HP difference? Any chance of them going on sale for $330 again?
I appreciate the offer! It is all stainless, actually. I believe I have found a shop locally that will do it and install my headers for a very reasonable price. However, with the holidays coming up, looks like it'll be at least the new year before it's all said and done. I'll keep ya posted.
Posting to get some input on whether or not this would be possible because I really have no idea... it seems simple enough in my head though.
Shortly after I bought my GT, I bought the MBRP street kit (which I love)... Now I'm getting ready to buy headers but I don't want to use any that use...
My regrets:
-Buying MBRP Street Cat Back instead of waiting and doing a full 3" header/catback combo. The sound is great but I hate that it necks down for factory connect
-Not getting the PP and selling the extras that I didn't want. I'm desperate for a premium bumper now.
-Not taking out the...
I picked up the following so far...
-Steeda Power Pack
-Race Star Wheels 17x7 front and 18x10.5 rear
Ended up selling my MBRP Street the weekend between black Friday and cyber Monday... Planning on getting a full SW system... temped to pull the trigger still before the deals end...
