american muscle wheels have a different size hole for the center cap. They also are made differently so the hub mating surface has voids the factory wheels don't. these make it possible to run wheel spacers thinner than 1" without modification.

the only real negative I found is the extra work it takes if your brakes need to come off 10 lugs vs 5 . To torque the front spacers I had to lever a breaker bar between two wheel studs. It would have been nice to have a pedal depressor or a helper to hold the brakes would work too
The mt82 excuse is getting worn out by you auto queens. If it really was that bad you should have gotten a manual camaro or challenger that's what I would have done if the 82 skeered me so badly
