Following because I've loved the car since I've seen and heard of it. Not nearly in my income bracket to get one even if I was approved but I'll keep dreaming for future funsies. Watching this thread and congrats Tom!
If you park in a garage, do you have about 20 feet from the door to the car? That's typically how I've always adjusted mine if I needed to (not mustang specifically just vehicles in general)
Fairly certain the only ones that do have this are the Mach 1 trims 21-23MY.
Not sure about the new cars, although, not saying you can't do it without whatever they added to the vehicles to allow the no lift shift feature cause I know it isn't something you NEED to have that stuff to do it
All your points make a lot of sense. When I got my Mach 1 I had always wanted a Mustang since before I could drive. It was every bit of fun I imagined and more while I had it. At the time I got the car when I was with my ex she had 3 kids so it also was convenient if we had a couple of them with...
I had originally intended to never get rid of the car before it even showed up and all the way up to the point of me driving the other car I ended up trading it for.
Went to visit my buddy out in Nashville and we ended up doing a 2 day autocross even with his car. The car was so much fun I...
My 1 and only traffic violation was on my motorcycle. I had no idea a cop had gone by in the opposite direction and my speeds were varying greatly. I was going anywhere between 80-140 or so. He said he clocked me at 134, however, due to no infractions when he wrote me up he only gave me the...
Wtf $250 to program? I used to work at a dealer and it takes less than 30 minutes to do it, we charged a half hour for the techs time and it was $70 I think.
If you have another dealer somewhat close to you I'd check with them
I honestly don't believe there's any reason to deny any type of claim because you turned off an option for the transmission to try and "learn" the driving habits of whomever is driving the car. It is not changing or altering the way it is intended to shift and turning off what seems to be an...
It's actually a magnetic metallic color. I replaced the original hood vents with the ford performance ones but had them painted to match the mirrors/spoiler/center hood stripe when I still had mine. I thought it looked so much better than the originals. Only thing I was a little disappointed...
The one other thing I've only seen mentioned in here one time by another user is however long your vehicle is sitting waiting for repairs/being repaired I would ask for payment compensation on the vehicle as you were unable to drive the car for those "x"days or months. I have seen them cover a...
If it wasn't as much hwy driving as it is for my commute I definitely would have just kept it on cause it looks way meaner with that thing on. Love how it looks with that on there
I kept the gurney flap off when I still had the car just because I have a decent highway commute to/from work if I took the car. I noticed it created so much extra drag I lost a couple miles per gallon off my drive so I left it off and only was throwing it on if I was going to do anything track...
I already saw a few people mention this as far as the cheapest work around and won't really affect anything is wheel spacers. I personally would probably go with some 5mm so you've got plenty of additional clearance and shouldn't have to worry about anything. I'd probably throw the same size on...
Actually, funny or not, I just recently found out you're NOT supposed to rinse your dishes before you put them into the dishwasher and run it unless you know dishes are going to sit in there for a while before you run it. There is apparently a sensor that detects how dirty the dishes are and...
I did at first because I thought the same thing in a sense that getting any loose dirt off the car would help the soap break down/break free any other debris that was more engrained or saturated onto the car.
After swapping and foaming the car straight away on the first try and changing up how...
Could try one of those ridiculously strong massagers I've seen people use to help dirty bounce around when they're vacuuming the front footwells in vehicles
Honestly it is super difficult for a dealership to do with another rental company. I would contact Ford directly and let them know what's goin on and it will be a lot easier to get a rental covered through a 3rd party. Some dealerships have a relationship with a car rental agency if this is in a...
