It really, really, really, REALLY sucks living in Florida when you would like to buy the extended warranty directly from the manufacturer.. Seeing as we can't take advantage of competition ... You can get the Premium care for the same price we can get the Base care, and sometimes even less...
I've gone this year in spring , and now summer :D . Planning on going up again in late October for the fall colors .. the Dragon/Cherohala loop is just epic.
Here are a couple pictures taken on my last trip to the dragon.. These are the 20" gloss blacks w/ the Ohstu tires (Lowered on Vogtland Sport Plus springs). I hadn't seen any pictures with the wheels on a oxford white car a little while back while reading through the thread, so thought I would...
Still haven't mentioned this to the dealer, I'm just assuming they will play the same game they are playing with you. I recently went and stayed in the mountains (North Carolina) and did some runs on the dragon... Hell I should just bring it to a dealership there the next time i'm up there, you...
If or when you get those, I would love to meet up and check them out if possible (Getting the 20's eventually, but still would like to see them in person!). I live right next to you practically.
I pretty much had the same exact damage on my ecoboost, I will try and find the invoice for the work... if I still have it.
I don't recall paying that much though, pretty sure it was less than $600.
As others have said... if you plan on keeping the car for a couple more years (I'm keeping mine until the next Gen) then I would say it's absolutely worth it.
I've had 3 mustangs within 4 years.. I had a 12, 15 eco and now the GT. My 12 had the evaporator issue, paint bubbles and a faulty...
This is exactly why I bought the extended warranty on my GT... It seems that I am cursed when it comes to this.. This happened on my 12 (Dealer scratched the crap out of the plastic near the steering wheel taking the dash off). This also happened on my 15 Eboost (Different dealership performed...
Hey guys...
I've noticed with my car if I take a sharp or hard left, the steering wheel feels like it's sticking or resisting to move back. I recently came back from a trip to Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon) and obviously was more noticeable there. It's always been there since i've owned the...
Way to quiet stock.... Had the mufflers deleted (kept resonator) ... totally transforms the sound... its not super loud, zero rasp... sounds amazing.
I would seriously recommend it for those who want to truly hear this engine, yet not be obnoxious ... plus it's super inexpensive.
I couldn't stand the stock exhaust being so quiet as well.. So for now, until I decide on an exhaust system (Very picky, wanting a very deep sound... and very little rasp) I had the mufflers deleted and kept the resonator ... and to be honest, I really love the sound.
It's loud enough, but...
White. I didn't think I would like it (I had a DIB before I traded for this) .. But trust me, it's crazy hard to see any swirling or scratches, and just plain pops.. I loved DIB, but couldn't keep up with the scratches and etc.
Well, I've had all 3 flavors sofar... 12 v6, 15 eco, and now a GT.. I can't say that I was disappointed with the v6 or the ecoboost... both had their individual character. I don't see how people can't grasp that.. Mustangs have always been built on the basis of affordable fun, and all versions...
I'll try and get some up here shortly, Must say that i'm loving Oxford White a lot more than I thought I would... coming from DIB, MUCH easier to keep cleanish looking :clap2:
I actually did pretty good... I found a 2015 premium GT that was lower miles than what I had on my ecoboost (which was a base). I was able to eliminate my small amount of negative equity (didn't put a down payment for the ecoboost) due to it be a 15 , and on the lot for 2 months.. there were no...
