Mine has looked exactly like this since the day I one! I noticed it when I took delivery of the car but the guy who pulled it around to the delivery garage was really fat so I figured it was just his ass print at the time. This is ridiculous for a 41K car. I am shocked to see how many are having...
I only have experience with the 7/32 size so I can't say for sure but I can't imagine that extra 1/32 is going to be a deal breaker. I say buy a set and give it a shot. If you feel comfortable then drive around on them and re check the tourque on the lugs and roll the dice... Oh, and my car is a...
If I remember right it's a nylon lock nut without lock tight. It's interesting that you are having this issue. With my car I didn't even need to use my pneumatic impact gun because my battery powered ryobi 18v impact worked just fine. Sorry you are having this issue. Take the strut to a tire...
I agree. I paid the cashier and went back to the service writer and requested the copies. He did't recieve any from the tech so he asked and the tech said he had to manually type the specs in and because of that there was no print out.........? Sound fishy? Or legit? I really don't know?
I just had mine done at the Ford dealer since none of the local tire/alignment shops had the specs yet. Even though I had the specs to provide to them, they couldn't do it. So I went to Ford and they did it there. Cost me $104! AND they couldn't provide me with any spec print out from before and...
Ride quality feels exactly the same as my PP springs felt. Bennifits were obviously the looks, but most importantly the handling. You have to REALLY push it hard to get any body roll out of it now and the nose dive is all but gone. I can't say enough about these springs!
I stand corrected. I went out and looked again for myself. You sir are correct. Luckily with the acorn style lug nut and concave lug hole on the wheel it is almost redundant in the way it centers. The thin 7/32 spacer still allows for the hub to enter the center bore of the wheel enough to aid...
Whomever they are, hats off to their company! I know Steeda engineered the rates but they produced a great product. I am a bit of a spring snob by the way. I usually only use maximum motorsports coilovers around Bilstiens and for comparisons sake, these will hang with my coilover sn95 all day long!
I run slip on spacers front and rear. There is more than enough threads left on the studs. Infact, I have used this style of spacer for years. This car has the most threads left with the spacer than any of the mustangs I have ever applied them too. They include my current 1965 coupe that I also...
Thanks man, I didn't take it that way at all. Im getting old so I'm not up with the lingo. The car was my Xmas/32nd bday gift to my self. I'm outta touch lol:doh:
