New Parts!!!!!
Woke up to snow all over my mustang :tsk:
BUT I also got a big box of parts! :clap2: :D
Some good ole Roush stuff never hurts ;)
Super excited about this! It's so much cooler (and smaller) than my old X3 haha. I'll just be housing a N/A tune for my headers for...
I just really don't understand how that grille made it into the final design? I haven't seen many people who like it..I certainly don't. What were they thinking..
Sounds awesome! I feel the same. I'm going for a twin screw setup (prefer it over the centri for a street car) with a modest pulley for now, since its my DD. Going for cams huh?? I haven't been impressed with most cam outcomes for the 5.0. Most don't add much (if any) of a lope and the power...
Yeah, they're a good form of insurance if you do a lot of racing and are planning on modding. Cause as I'm sure you know, if the oil pump gear goes....there goes your motor.
Thanks! Yes I did get the Recaro's! & nope. no regrets at all. Don't need the fancy toys (even though the 15' base...
I did haha. Put them in and after my first drive, one fell out into the light housing. Man that was a ***** to get out! But they are well aware of the problem and have redesigned the base so it fits. They shipped me out a new set last week!
Well yeah, some people will have problems. Others...
I did my Dyno run at Dynospeed. Yeah I do most of the work myself Unless it mandates a lift or tools/equipment I don't have access to.
Hopefully nothing. The MT-82 isn't a terrible transmission..it's the horrible shifter/bracket that causes most of the problems. I will be replacing the...
Thanks! Have you done any mods to yours?
Yeah, the factory gears are powdered steel. They have proven to be a weak spot in the 5.0 for those who race/lots of high rpm driving. Because I'm supercharging, most likely extending the rev limiter, and I will be racing the car I'm switching them out...
Congrats! Love the color! And the mod list, I have/am planning a lot of the same ones! (You can check out my build if you want http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16016) did you install the little inlet tube in the Airaid or do you already have the Bama tune?
Hey Love the vinyl on the heat extractors! I did mine in plastidip for now, just to make sure I liked the look before I spent money on a more permanent solution.
I've been thinking about getting a clear bra put on for my build (http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16016) but...
Will do! I'll be posting a video to my YouTube channel (and the link here of course) and I'll have the dyno results to compare to my "baseline" dyno! Now all I need is for Kooks to get a move on it and send me those headers!!! :headbang:
Yeah its a rubber compound that comes in a spray can
Gorgeous car! Love that color! We have/are planning a lot of the same mods! (you can check out my build thread if you want: (http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16016)
Question: why'd you choose a Pro charger over a twin screw style SC? Just curious about your personal motives, I...
I had the VERY same problem on my GT >.< Called up diode and they ordered a new set for me, apparently the first ones sent out weren't machined properly....that was weeks ago and I still have yet to receive my replacement...:tsk:
No visibility issues with the tail lights what-so-ever. Even with the tint, once you step on the brakes you can barely even tell they're tinted. The headlight tint MAY have reduced the brightness of the headlights by a tiny tiny bit but honestly, if it has its so minimal I can't tell. It's still...
Considering the air inlet tube pulls from the grille, water would have to make it into the tube and up (at an angle) to get to the filter. I don't think water is going to get in your filter if it rains and the car is sitting still. MAYBE if its raining hard and you're driving fast, but I don't...
