I can't imagine moving around one of these monster size batteries without a handle of any kind, it's crazy heavy! If it didn't come with it I'd be screwed, my back went out putting that beast in. I imagine you could make one with some thinner rope from ACE or Lowe's. I had an option to buy one...
Update!
Here's what I did to make the XS 3400R battery fit. I had purchased the XS Power adapter 555 and booked them on. However since the black negative terminal to the adapter slants left it was blocking the hood from closing. So I swapped them out, positive & negative adapter, (I don't see...
So I have it sitting like this, it's flush, but I can't use a terminal post. So how did you get the + (red of course) connected. I'm running "Big3" as well but there's no room for that if I go with this 3400R.
That's the weird thing about it, I think I'll try again but I thought it was sitting flush. Made no sense to me why it didn't fit. Granted it's 110° in Phoenix, my garage 118° probably. I was sweating like a dog maybe I was rushing it lol.
D3400R was a flop , the hood wouldn't close as the battery wouldn't sit properly even with the sides cut, it was just too high. Pffft. I have an after market hood that may be why, IDK, I'm just going to go with the d4700
I def. want to try it but I may have to fix a diff. issue first. I'm getting a weird clanking sound from both wheel wells when I go over bumps or rough roads. A buddy told me it may be control arm bushings. $$$
I actually said different battery models but I'll look up this D3400 as well since you posted a picture of our sitting in that same space. Thanks for the info.
***EDIT. I looked up the specs and it should fit better since I already cut the sides. Plus this had better power than the other...
Hmmmm. I have a pretty decent audio system and airbags so I've been looking for a bigger battery than that weak stock battery. Saw this D4700 but I'm thinking of going for the D4800/D4900. I had already chopped up the sides of that black plastic trying to fit another battery in there. So I came...
You won't regret it, just got mine last week. I suffer from chronic back pain to include sciatic nerve pain so I went with the automatic and I'm glad I did. I'm much more relaxed cruising. The basic, well couldn't afford performance pack but still love my grabber blue and my kids can't get...
Hello all, just switched from a 2012 RAM HEMI with a few mods on it, to a Ford 2017 EcoBoost Mustang Grabber Blue. I would have loved a GT but perfectly ecstatic and happy with my EcoBoost. I've had a few Mustang in the past but never anything new and I'm impressed with how Ford put a little...
