Nice looking change. Might even be functional as the whole tower is involved.. Any chance you measured clearance to the manifold top between the two? Thanks either way.
I completely understand.. I haven't but I am local to them and know a large number of people who have with Ford and other makes. I've met a few of the team and chatted at local events, I think they're good people. I don't know if this helps but check this out until you get word back...
Personally, I'd stick with a remote tune before I went with a local who has no experience with the car. Your car isn't a dime a dozen engine or power adder. Palm Beach Dyno is a fine shop, they do good work and they'll have far more experience with your vehicles combination than a local shop...
I believe MSRP is 469 and they're quoting shipping at $19. I think Gen 1 was 485 or 490 less s&h?
Based on the marketing we've got, Gen 1 was a 15% reduction in throw over stock.. MGW is reporting the Gen 2 as a 5% improvement in throw reduction over the original (20% reduction over stock)...
If it's official, every brand handles signage different but I'd ask to the GSM or just email the GM. Moving past the brand specified purchaser, some stores do their own thing.. I've seen the marketing purchases exclusively handled by the back office.. One store the owner's wife handled it. The...
Nobody is selling a Z06 at MSRP to anyone from an online registry anytime soon, not even Kerbeck. Allocation will be even more limited than the base C8 and each dealership already has handfuls of regulars and insiders to give them to. Most dealerships will be happy to throw you on the back of...
The list has been full for a while now, the car is OR will quickly hit a 2yr wait IMO.. Besides the usual list, I was told Chevrolet was only allowing specific people on the list. You had to be designated a a Corvette buyer (no first timers) and for a chance at a Z06, ZR1, or the electric one...
IMO it's more about where you're racing throughout the year, what RPMs you're spinning, and what gears you're hitting most often..
I'd find or make a tool to compare speed in gears at specifics RPMs and tailor it to your home track or favorite tracks.. The attached image is something I...
I don't think people take issue, it seems like people are just trying to understand why things are so different.. Your photos don't quite catch the effect the additional angle introduces on the end links. Take a look at @Angrey 's video just a few posts up.. sums it up quite well.
All that...
Nice video, thank you for taking the time.
This is where I'm at, there must be something to it.. I don't expect third parties to reinvent the wheel and/or invest the R&D to do something like this.. If this was a third party part, I'd pass on a drastic change like this, especially without...
No. There is a billet two-piece bracket that is tightened down on the very end of the pegs (the excess material) coming out of the back of the shifter, behind what slides through factory mount. This bottom billet bracket has a length of material on each side that are then received by the rubber...
