+1 for 19's... would love to see pics of these manufactured and on a car. May be worth going for these over the 350's.
Love what you guys are doing... good looking wheels and lightweight is key!
*edit* I guess I could just look at pics of the actual GT350r lol..
Haven't read the whole thread yet, but DAT FRONT FASCIA.
I'm going to need that... hopefully it won't be too expensive.
Finally a company who gets it... it's not about taped on scoops or fasicas with radical hard lines... it's about beautifying and exaggerating the OEM design. Best s550 front...
Not an LE, but I took mine apart tonight. Very happy with how easy it was to take apart. The only pieces that are "melted" to the body are the rear deck, trunk blackout panel, sun visors/rear view, and side windows. The grilles and headlights come out in 1 piece.. and the headlight lenses come...
I am in sales, and I don't think OP is asking too much at all. In fact, he is asking less of the dealer.
I know plenty of techs... and I know how many of them treat performance vehicles like these.
With the hype these cars have, Timmy Tech will be chomping at the bit to "let er eat" to 8200...
Yes, if you have one in your area go in and check it out. They're on the isle with the toys. The models are seasonal for Christmas and usually start rolling out in the fall. They are $13.xx in my store in Alabama.
Here is mine:
Sam's club has these for $13.. I bought a white one a few months ago. Just noticed last trip in they had a red one too. The white is ehh, but the red looks really nice. I'm going to paint mine silver if I ever find the time.
I agree with that^
I can't do the styling of the Camaro either. It looks even more cartoonish and hot-wheelsy than the 5th gen.
Inside and out. Yuck.
I'm glad the performance numbers are impressive though. Hopefully the group who approved a heavier mustang is now shaking in their boots...
I love them. I ran them on my 07 and they were easily my favorite tire for that car.
The thing that sets these tires apart is the ride quality and lack of tire noise. They are very smooth and seriously quiet rolling down the road. The tires felt lightweight, and I remember the steering wheel...
It is absolutely terrible looking, but there's no getting around that performance. It makes me want to hold off on ordering a 16 coyote and wait to see how Ford responds.
Wow, I actually love the nickel luster finish on those wheels. I think it looks fantastic on your black car.
If they don't grow on you, another option is selling those and going with an aftermarket wheel that doesn't weigh as much as a ship :)
These are pretty darn good looking, and the weight savings is making me seriously consider them. I would be interested to see them on ingot silver in both colors.
I was going to order Ingot with the 20" foundry wheels because they look so beautiful, but once I found out they were 64lbs with...
I have always said the 5th gen looks like it was designed by a room full of 5th grade boys... and now the 6th gen looks like it was designed by a room full of 6th grade boys. It's the ultimate transformer / hot wheels toy looking car.
The S550 is graceful, grown and sexy.
5.0 didn't even get a power jump? Cool that they upgraded the internals some though. Wonder how much power we'll be able to get out of a stock motor...
