It was a great turnout today considering the potential for bad weather. There were 15 total cars that made it to lunch, and eleven of those that stuck around for the photo ops.
We did a lineup on the top floor of one of the parking garages at Southlake Town Square, and then we went bowling...
I feel your pain, Clay. Today was Kitana's first day out in a week, and I'm still Jones-ing. I've been watching the weather all week like a meth-head looking for a fix.
Ozzmosis86 and I are planning to meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 at the Valero at 1013 S Blue Mound Rd. The Weather Channel is currently indicating only a 25% chance of rain tomorrow morning, so unless the weather goes to shit, we'll be at C&C.
Andy won't be able to make it to the lunch meet in...
Looks like this is shaping up to be a good turnout for this month (and Mother Nature might even cooperate.)
I have a recommendation for a new lunch location moving forward, but we'll keep this month at Mi Chula's since it's been posted for several weeks. We'll discuss at the meet.
See you guys...
Detail and CQuartz UK
I actually had this done Friday, but due to curing time and rainy weather, I wasn't able to pick the car up until today. I had a local detailer (The Dark Side Detailing) do a full interior and exterior detail with paint correction and CQuartz UK coating. Kitana's shining...
You'll be much happier with the BN/White. The blue enamel looks nothing like the DIB and looks very tacky on the car (to me, at least). I still have a BN/Blue from the first batch, but I didn't like the look so I ordered a BN/White from the second batch. It should look amazing with the white...
Another thing to consider: as a former tech myself, I knew of some bumpy/rough roads a couple miles from the dealership that were great for testing suspension issues. This could be the case here as well.
You could always make the decision at the time they call you for the test drive. Maybe...
They were probably just too lazy to check the mileage when they finished with the car. I wouldn't get too bent out of shape over eight miles. 80 miles would be a much different story.
That said, I personally make it very clear when I drop off my car that it is NOT to be driven off the lot and...
Damn that sucks, Dario. At least you're okay and the damage looks superficial. She should be good as new in no time. You should still come to the meet in a couple weeks, even if you don't have her back yet.
Good job on snagging the plate. Hopefully that works out.
